My employer provided healthcare premium has increased at the rate of 1% annually since the ACA. Before the ACA it was increasing 20% to 25% annually from the years 2000 to 2010.

It is doing exactly what Obama said it would do ....... slow down the inflation rate.

No. Trump claimed he was wire tapped (surveilled or whatever) BEFORE the election - during the "sacred" election process. rkelly is talking about stuff after the election. Perhaps after the election Obama started to put some pieces in place to keep Trump in check. If so, good on him for doing what's good for the country.

God for the country? Or good for political ideology? I was just watching an episode of the show Designated Survivor with my wife and it touched on the current political landscape and leaks and traitors vs patriots theories. To me, undermining a political foe and labeling one side a traitor or whatever term you want to use isn't right these days. Motives for the nation and its people rather than gains for yourself and friends need to be separate is all I'm saying. If your political party is on the way out and the voters installed one choice over another you shouldn't do the dirty tricks in order to destabilize the incoming person because the affects us and we aren't in that little game. Just my humble opinion.

If you stop and think about how the Repub party was so divided among themselves during Obama's reign,
it's not Obama running a shadow govt trying to ruin Trump, they are doing it to themselves. Freedom caucuses,

Your post sums up what happen with Obama during the last few years of his presidency.. That is the main reason Trump won the election because of Obama's failures..

We didn't want to see those same failures continue on under Hillary.. Bottom line is both Trump and Hillary were not popular candidates so it really came down to how the American people felt with the direction the Country was heading..

He ran on change, looked like an outsider. He was a young, energetic, and his message got contagious.

At the time, I didn't know that Obama voted against anything and everything Republican, I thought he could have been a uniter.
But he got in and told Republicans "to get in back of the bus"

He, immediately, had the bail out crisis.
So, we were patient.
But after four years, unemployment is at its highest since the Great Depression of the 1930's(still in a recession), but the Republicans put up Mitt Romney-a former Governor with record of taxing the hell out of his state. Easy win for Obama, then.

This is how I summed it up and why I voted for Obama first term -

Obama when first running did spread the message of hope.. We were in a bad recession and I knew he would be our best chance of getting us out of it.. I had thought another Republican President might sink us further into a depression.. Besides that I thought Obama being elected would give the black community a real boost and actually reduce racism in this Country..

Turned out Obama did offer hope and change immediately and he did work us out of the recession.. I was happy.. Then I saw the National Debt went way up in the process of bailing out banks and what not and needless to say by the time Obama left office racism may have been at an all time high in this Country..

We were seeing BLM hate movements growing, rioting happening more frequently, cops being targeted and shot and executed.. It was getting ugly fast and I don't think we've seen that happen since the 60's and 70's... Today it's chill now under Trump..

So yes I desperately wanted Trump to win in this election. Change was needed once again and Hillary didn't offer that.....
