#2sorry to hear about your misfortune. i had no problems with bodog but since they changed names i haven't cashed out. Do you live in the middle of nowhere? Maybe that's why it's taking so long.
Judging by your name, I'm guessing you're somewhere in Tennessee. My old bodog checks used to come from Hong Kong, so maybe it's just taking a long time for them to get it to Eastern America. You can always contact support...I think they have live chat 24/7.
As far as other sites for U.S. players, there's really only Merge (Carbon Poker, Lock Poker), and Bovada. Good luck!Comment -

#7Hey Guys - We realize the estimated time frame of 15 business days is not ideal, but we want to reassure you that getting our players paid is a top priority for us.
If you are waiting on a payout that seems to be taking longer than you were originally advised, keep in mind that the time frame does not include weekends or holidays. If you have a payout that is past the estimated time frame, we invite you to PM us your account number here on the SBR forum, and we will have someone look into it and get back to you.
Cheers,
Bovada ServiceComment -

#10I'll send you a pm... But it's not a big check or anything it's just the principal. I called yalls customer service and the woman told me it was bc of the Super Bowl... That's almost six weeks ago if y'all are still backe up from that then I'm sure march madness has y'all backe up so now y'all will be slow on payments for march madness as well? Is it a continuous cycle? It been 16 business days 22 days in all. The 15 days as you say bovada are already a high number and then going over that? I haven't even received a trackin number yet. I'm just sayin if y'all can estimate when y'all sen checks out why can't player estimate when theyll deposit? Can I give ya a "ill pay ya in 15 days but it'll def be longer" so go on and give me credit on my account? Of coarse no so get ya stuff together bovada! The main thing is keeping your customers happy and delayed payouts ain't gonna cut it...Comment -

I forgot about Americas Card Room (which seems to be related to Bookmaker, I am not up on all the poker rooms and who runs them), people are getting paid in a few days, at least that is what I am reading. I stay away from sites that allow US players because of what has been happening with US poker.Comment -

#21Calvin Ayre has absolutely nothing to do with Bovada.lv.
To give you a quick bit of history, Calvin sold the bodog gambling operations in 2006 but retained the rights to the bodog brand name which he created. He now licenses out the bodog brand name to various companies (have a look at bodogbrand.com for more info here) and started his own online gambling industry media site (CalvinAyre.com) in late 2009.
Thanks!

#23Guess I was wrong about Calvin and Bovada, it's hard to keep up with who owns what. But I do know that his new site is circle line poker, and coming from someone who called winning players parasites I wouldn't advise to play there.Comment -

#24I play on 5 dimes a lot. Not a great deal of traffic but probably comparable to Bovada . I cashed out and received funds next day so considering the amount of traffic is close to Bovada and payouts next day it's a better option in my opinion. I've played on Bovada as well so I'm familiar with both services.Comment -

#30Bovada Service: You sent me a message yesterday and told me to PM you my account number. Well I can't PM you I don't have 20 posts. I will tell you my account number is 3183918. Today is the 30th business day that I waiting on my wire transfer payout. This is crap. I have email and email and email the customer support. I keep getting the run around. On April 3rd they told me they did a trace and it showed my wire transfer was successful and that i needed to contact my bank. Well that was a lie. I went to my bank and took in the reference number they gave me and my bank didn't show anything coming in for me. They also said they needed the fed # and sender name to do a more in depth trace but Bovada Customer Support won't get back to me with this info. I want my payout. I am so pissed off. #31I've been at Bodog.ca since it opened. I was happy when I could finally bet at Bodog with it's great lines & fast payouts.
When I learned of the legal problems they had I became weary, then there was some input from some members about how the legalities & technicalities wouldn't affect the online book.
I cant help but wonder if the recent news about Bodog & their current tendencies to hold everyone's money isn't more than just a coincidence.
I'll bet no one receives any compensation or reward for being so patient. I wouldnt deposit to this controversy-marred book anymore & can only hope GOVOLZ, JAKEPEAVY & FRANKZIG will do the same if they ever get paid.
I truly believe one of the strongest attributes of this site is to bring these sort of scams to the attention of the public to let them decide what they want to do.Comment -

#34Through their criticism, Bodog has always been dependable with pay outs. With the industry being in the state it's in the past several years, some times take longer than others.
I haven't played on Bovada but feel that they wouldn't carry the rating they would here if they were "scamming" people. Unfortunately long waits for payouts are the norm these days. Hope I'm not wrong and don't believe I will be, but you'll get your money.Comment -

#35I believe you are wrong & it also sounds like you are saying that "waiting for long periods of time is the norm". I play at Bet365 lately & my last 3 cashouts have taken 4 days from request to cash in hand.
I dont know if it is a good idea to defend a book when so many people are conveying their problems with it. I also dont know if you should endorse a book you have never played at. They are holding players money for weeks when it only takes seconds to receive our cash. This is, in my opinion a scam. I agree that the industry is in an unflattering state but, this site in particular has the type of bad press attached to it that should be raising all sorts of red flags.Comment
