Today there was 33 in the 8.00am today... but honestly scanning down the list of names it seemed a lot of the more 'serious' players have jumped on this timeslot for the perceived advantage of less starters.

Not so sure it will turn out easier to cash in the lowest interest slot of the day.

@Lou... please think about dropping back to 7 minute blinds.

This guppie jumped into the 8am slot because I am off vacation now... :-(

please keep the 1800 chips and 8min blinds.

It is not a significant change to total tourney time yet adds a little more play into the game and also adds more chips into play for the latter part of the tourney.

For this morning's tourney, more than half the final table has more than 10xBB, which is good for more flexible play and not just push/fold coin flipping.

Broken down nicely, BeerDog99. We agree the added blinds and extra minute add more skill to the game. Perhaps it puts some of the posters at a disadvantage?

4 AM filled today. Never came close before today, but today it did.

Had to wake up for it because I have to go to work early, so can't play at work, and can't play in the night ones either.

I slept through the 4AM again for the second time in a row! I am actually glad to see that it filled up though as I dont feel so badly now. And now i can stop signing up for that bitch!!

Good. I like it too. By reducing the players it only adds about 15 minutes.

I snagged 8th in the 8.00am, but both times I've managed to be in a tourney with under 30 everyone has played so tight it was slow and boring for me.

Also seems like the keener players might target it too, as both times it felt like at least half the names are ones in the cup top 10s

Why is there an 8AM tourney but not a 2AM one. I would assume more players would participate in the 2AM. Seems like a more reasonable time.

Click the Tournaments tab. From there you will see the upcoming tournaments. Decide which one you want to play in(keep in mind there is a 1 per day limit). Click on to register. Show up at the time it starts and plunge your brains out. Thats about it.

Hi agendaman,

1st step is to log-in to SBR Poker. Double-click the icon on your desktop. Log-in with your forum username and PW.

From there, you will already be highlighted on our Tourneys tab. You may register in only one tournament per day. Look for a tournament that states it is "Open" (you can find the registration opening times in the 1st post of this thread).

So right now, the SBR Points Tourney, 4PM ET is Open. Double-click it, then hit Register. You'll have to pay a 22-point entry fee as a Non-Pro. SBR Pro members play for free.
