What's your longest session of live poker?

i played for 26 hours last year at turning stone. I was just playing at the 100 max table and i sat for 8 hours with just 40 dollars and i ended up leaving with close to 2k at a 100 MAX TABLE it was worth it

4-5 hours. I did play in a semi private game back in college that went from Friday afternoon till sunday morning. At least it was at a oriental restaurant so we could eat!

When you are playing semi professionally trying to make money as opposed for fun you can't leave the table in a lot of situations.

When the table is soft you should not be going anywhere. I have played sessions where I am running good and get deep. Like 500bb + and the other deep stacks are donks. You can't justify leaving whilst they are playing. Even when you stack them deep. A lot of players will then go on massive tilt and donk off 3 or 4 buy ins. So if I can keep my eyes open I'm staying.

When you buy in on a Friday night be prepared for a long session. Playing from Friday evening to early Sunday morning is pretty standard.

Deep field tourneys around 4.5 hours now if they have late registration its 5-6 hours

12 hours is my longest straight session of live poker. Have had longer online sessions though.

The key here is having a wait staff supply the food and drinks while having a piss jug with funnel.
