    Are The Poker Numbers Down?
Used to be 35-40 players every tourney. What happened? 18 on Tuesday. Hearing 12 later that day.

Stopped playing because I'm just not interested enough in poker anymore. If they went back to old format of 10 per table I might think about playing again.

So you prefer folding to playing hands? 10 per table is awful and only still exists as an antiquated tradition that came from live poker rooms' desire to get the most out of the space they have, it's wholly unnecessary online and makes for an extremely boring playing experience

Change of 6 to a table was great. Gutting the prize pools probably scared off a lot of people. Even though it's a little better in this promo than the previous one, damage was done

The grind may be too much for many. I do miss the likes of Sin and Beerdog though. The numbers are cut in half for sure.

The player numbers are way down, also most people play omaha h/l for rollover.

Seems like your style is better suited for 6 handed play. Surprised to hear you say this.

The point payouts were never worth it, but at least it was "something" I believe it was 375 at it's peak than 250/175/125/75/50 something like that

Now iyou can play an 1:45 and get 30 points ($1).

I went out 6th last night and there was still 5 guys left at 9:45 pacific/12:45 am est for the 8/11 start.

So not only are the points "not worth it" , if you're out of the top 12 in the WC it makes it very difficult to close any signifigant gap, especially later on, though it's still very early.

I'm NOT complaining, I'm just stating my observations behind what may be the reasons. I skipped many series including the "best poker player" or whatever that was. It's never been about the points for me, but is there a table I can get on with 15?

I'm playing because I love the atmosphere of the WC.

You'd figure with Quarantine and sports gone/now sort of going again, it would be more popular.

                        Just my two pennies.

It's suddenly got really busy with regular forum business.

I assume that means a bunch of people have just arrived back.

Might get what we ask for and some new blood in the race.
