    Still learning SBR
    Hello all.

Asking for some either advice or tips on SBR poker. I’ve been fortunate enough to win some betpoints from the free tourneys. Unfortunately, when I try to hit the rollover, I’m losing a bulk of the points I just won.
Now I know it’s gambling and there’s risk but I just think I’m doing something wrong.

    Thanks all

Join games that have several players in them rather than just one. You will win more often then if you are just playing heads up. With more players in the game the edge players have on you goes down.

I've said this before but make sure to avoid guys with names like Crusherrr on the tables. Self explanatory.

Hey man. Try to roll over your points in Omaha hi-lo on the weekends. At least that way you have two shots at winning some of the pot. Because hold-em on here is wild with the suck outs!
I don't speak for anyone but I'm sure most people on here will tell you that the hold-em games are BRUTAL the way it hits people with frustrating suck-outs. I had AA last night and dude called my all in with 77 (not a bad call by him) and If I win, I've completed the roll of my chips. But as soon as I saw him turn over 77, I knew what the SBR hold-em software was going to do! And sure enough, BAM the 2 outer 7 comes right in the window and I lose all my chips! It's a LOT better shot to keep/rollover your chips if you play Omaha hi-lo!

if you want to roll fast, disregard the info above as that is for pussies who have time to sit around and play all f'n weekend hoping to salvage five f'n bucks worth of betpoints....

be a f'n man, get into a heads up holdem game, and get the whole wad of points rolled over in 5-10 mins....

heads up hi lo omaha is good, players like big orange and players only sixty nine will get your points rolled over in 2-3 mins.... I will too....

Oh I know all too well about Crusherrr. One of the reasons I had to ask this question.

Hey there Ray. As a couple others said, the omaha h/l Friday-Sunday is the best way to quickly roll over and likely bank more points. GL and see you at the tables mate.

Good point. I’ve been losing most of my points heads up. I mean for me 300 points is a lot(especially since I can’t buy them). For others it’s not that big of a deal.

                  Chrusher victim here myself.

If I win a tournament on a Monday-Thursday I am not waiting until Friday to try to roll over.

My advice is if you come out looking weak early in head to head match-ups you will be taken advantage of. You have to come out aggressive.

Great freakin point! Only time I go "reckless" is when I'm losing.

If I'm not losing then I'm a nit because of the "fear" of losing. I got it freakin backwards.

Omaha is a good way to roll but does take some learning. Sam posted a thread with some omaha tips, check that out and take it slow. Once you figure it out, you'll be rolling in no time

Just loan all your points to a douche bag named Carseller. He’ll double them up in the casino for you and pay you back huge with interest.

bobbywaves could rollover like no other. he and robertwaves were going at it one night and it was epic. one would bet 25 the other would call. then the turn would come and one would be intimidated and immediately fold..not even check. Then the next hand the other guy would fold on the turn. We never saw a showdown but it was like the old west fast draw with neither of them ever hitting each other, bullets everywhere except for the one they were aiming at.
