there was a strange hand right before that to discuss:
200/400 40 ante
I had 10sJh in the hijack I raise to 800 (12470 chips to start)
CO calls (34716 chips)
so does SB (8483 chips)
flops 8s9sAh SB checks I check CO bets 1140 we both call
turn 3s checks through
river 8d checks through
SB had Qc9c and won
HH shows CO had 5c6c
So on river any spade, 10 or jack I win the pot
Bust the SB with a nonspade queen
Double up with a nonspade 7
Also feel like I could have won this hand anyways, not sure where the best spot for the bluff was though.
I didnt want to bet the flop because I felt like I had a disguised hand if I hit the straight and there was a good chance I could have gotten raised if I bet. Dont like CR the flop either for that reason with such great odds.
Betting the turn seems stupid.
By the river, it feels like no ace is going to fold, and the CO could easily have one, and had extra chips to make a loose call. I could have repped the flush, but not sure the SB was going to fold anyways with an ace. Not sure why hes even in with Q9 so low stacked, I must admit I didnt factor in hands like that.
