The bottom line is everyone is jumping on waves because he is waves. The old "my bet points will crush your bet points, I have cashed out more than you" mentality has finally caught up with him. He always stated he isn't here for internet friends so the bed has been made. I could name many players that if this happened to them and they gave a legit explanation, no one would question it. Again, time to move on. No one will lose sleep over this.

I don't quite agree either frank. As one of the people who initiated this, I would have provided the same evidence to the moderators no matter who the parties involved were. While I will wholly admit that I took a lot more pleasure in doing it + seeing this go down since it was Waves, this was as clear a chip dump as I've ever seen and no matter who the parties involved were, it certainly warranted an investigation at the very least.

I do agree with you that had this happened to someone else, the result certainly might have been different. Had the other party been someone respectable, for example Jake, who obviously would not have said anything in the middle of the hand, the moderators would have investigated this incident still and discovered that no1here acted alone for whatever reason: he timed out, spilled milk, or dumped because he doesn't know better - who knows. But obviously in that scenario the other party would not have been chastised as they clearly did nothing wrong.

Waves' problem is that he clearly didn't put himself in a position to be given the benefit of the doubt as I'm guessing most other posters would have been. Telling his opponent to "check it down" in the middle of the hand is 100% collusion - something which he doesn't seem to realize (or he's just playing dumb again). Most poker sites actually disable chat when any player is allin specifically to prevent people from talking/colluding. When it was pointed out to him that doing that is completely against the rules, he gave his usual line of "I can say whatever I want, what are you going to do about it?" Well now he has his answer!

And even more damning is this evidence that he was involved in a chip dumping scheme in the cash games also. Now, as I mentioned earlier, I don't have first hand knowledge of that, but many have referenced it, and I haven't seen him deny it anywhere, which certainly suggests that there is some truth to it. Especially with Drew mentioning how this was not the first complaint of this type they had received towards Waves + Drew's statement that they had been investigating this for three days - Drew likely was referring to the earlier accusations against Waves when he said that. If the moderators had clear evidence that Waves was chip dumping in cash games in a similar manner, of course he was not going to be given the benefit of the doubt in this instance. When you involve yourself in shady activity repeatedly it has a way of eventually catching up to you.
