How was the Def Leppard concert? Saw them last year and they were great.

I took a later flight that didn't land until 6:30 so I didn't go. I was worried about a delay and missing it. I've already seen them a bunch of times so no big deal.

I ended up on Freemont street last night. It was a blast. Packed with people and girls with barely dressed. Went to heart attack grill and got spanked by my nurse (waitress) for not finishing my food.

Here's the room at The Plaza too. Not ultra fancy but very large and clean/comfortable bed and nice view.

You literally walk out the front door, cross street and you on Freemont street.

And hardly a homeless person to be seen btw

Opti, I will give u my Blackjack tip for Downtown:

* Blackjack downtown is pretty bad, in general. Tourist-area, so they don't feel like they need to offer a good game.

If u want to play Blackjack and feel like you're getting fair odds, walk down to El Cortez. Single-deck game is ok, but shuffled quickly.

Double-deck game is quite good. Main difference btw ElCortez + Fremont/GoldNugg is that ElCortez offers Double After Split. So, you're +.20% better off, right off the bat.

Optic got hit on by two black gay guys last night(not that there's anything wrong with that). Must have been the jeans/sandals thing.

Freemont street had some good bands last night. The lead singer in that Motley Crue cover band had some pipes. They sounded better than the real thing.

After the incident where Joe tried to line me up a threesome with 2 gay guys who wanted to know if they looked Mexican (no idea why they asked us) we went home but I met a group of girls from Nashville on the way and ended up hanging out with them for another hour or so... until they finally mentioned they all had boyfriends sitting a casino somewhere playing roulette. Maybe they thought I was gay too :\

Apart from that I want to play either the Rio deep stack or the 1pm at Golden Nugget.

I went to play the GN tourney today but ended up opting for cash games instead. Error, sharps plundered about 800 bucks off me. :\

Ended up deciding to just play cash games as Peavy and Reigle weren't keen on the tourney and I figured could do that another day anyway.
