This line reeked. Anyone taking Hawaii knew they were taking a chance on a fishy situation. First time I think I've ever bet against Hawaii at home, but this spot called for it. I just wish I'd doubled down at the half, but I'll take nice Utah State victory to end a great day/night.

This had to be one of the fastest college football games of the modern television format "era." Just a shade under two and a half hours is incredibly fast. A lot of the games can push four hours now.

Unreal. Covering easily the whole game, then the refs give them a bad spot to turn it over on downs. Next play, Hawaii defender has an interception in his hands, Utah St receiver snatches it out of his hands and runs all the way in for a touchdown. Then more blown chances to cover: Utah St fumbles, Utah St recovers; bad snap sets runningback back for what should be a 20 yard loss and 4th down, they let him reverse field and run for first down; then that play gets called back for a block, but Hawaii still gives up the 3rd and way long anyway. Basically, the only way Hawaii doesn't cover after the first half is a perfect, one in a million sh*tstorm, and that is what happens.

Sure it wasn't looking good at halftime. At that point, any of us would've gladly cancelled out our bets if you'd offered the opportunity. However, Hawaii at home only giving up 3.5 points to this team surely should've raised your eyebrows a bit. For me, that line clearly pointed to Utah State or a no play. It was a really unusual way of achieving the result the oddsmakers were expecting, but I do not think anyone could argue this was an ideal spot to take Hawaii. We've all been on both sides of situations like this though, so we know the crappy feeling of your side totally blowing it (I've had my money on some epic second half collapses this season alone).
