    Dieting.....soooooooo tired :(
I just started a new diet, eating about 1,600 calories a day. no sugar, small meals spaced out ect. I really eat whatever i want (meatball calzone my fav) and run on my treadmill 2 out of every 3 days.........Im certainly losing weight, trimming up. But im so tired and agitated and it takes me so long to fall asleep at night. I still sleep 8 hours but im just exhausted during the day. Anyone diet before and get this feeling, how long did it last?

Yeah I have it, I am on Diet too, 3 weeks so far, I stoped drinking Soft Drinks such as Coke.

and started eating alot of fruits.

Pineapple is one of the best fruits you can eat. It helps the body to eliminate all the toxins in the way of urine.

Watermelon is Superb since 70% of it is water it will help you get slim fast. Also it is very healty.

Try eating Banana, the potasium in them will give you energy

Also eat some cabbage since it is healty and prevents protate cancer in a 50%

    GOOD LUCK!!!!

I eat like a slob. I walk a mile a day on the treadmill and pump iron for around 40 minutes or so. Usually 45 to an hour if motivated. Do this and you should'nt gain weight, unless you hve a real slow metabolism. I do however sleep like shit all the time.

You are probbablky tired beacuse you are eating too much greasy stuff, unhealty stuff. If you are doing exercise your body needs FUEL not OIL XD. So eat some roasted chicken, or pasta, some rice with beans. Not CALZONE or BURGES or FRIED CHICKEN,. Good way to be healty is not to eat so many fried stuff
        Hope it helps you

You're tired because you need sugar. The brain needs sugar, the body needs it, it's unnatural to remove it.

I did a cranberry liver detox, removed sugar, couldn't sleep, no energy, and memory problems. You should do a 1-2 week detox and then exercise and eat regular. Fukk diets.

Also you could try a couple cups of black coffee stretched out throughout the day...its not too bad for you in moderation but it has to be black and might even give your metabolism a slight boost.

To be honest I have lost 7 pounds with no exercise. sugar is not bad for you. You need sugar. Sugar is the Fuel of your veins. And when you get such income of SUGAR from fruits is the best you can get. of course if you eat too much of the same thing is definelty bad.

I suggets you to stop drinkng soft drinks since on soft drinks contains 10 tablespoons of sugar and your body needs daily 10 tablespoons of sugar. So if you drink One Soda Pop that is all you can eat for the day. that does not sounds good.

there is no need to worry about sugar on fruits, I will be more worried about Fat and Fried Stuff which can cause you heart problems.

Also vegetables are great the fiber will surely accelerate your metabolism, and you will even do Number 2 in a better and faster way. One way to know how healty is your body is to

                      1) look at your urine color if it is super yellow you need more water, if it some what yellow or somewhat clear is good. If it is super clear you are doing great.

                      2) If you take to much time to do crap and they are huge that is a sign that you lack fiber.

So eat salad with Carrots, Tomatoes, Cucummbers,. Or a cabbage salad with carrots.

You need carbs in your diet. If scared of gaining fat, just eat complex carbs instead of simple carbs (the only time you should eat simple carbs is right after a workout when you want to gain muscle. It replenishes your glycogen stores fastest). Complex carbs are perfect because they will give you energy for an extended period of time without the insulin spike which simple carbs bring.

i read that. your brain starts using keytones for energy with the lack of sugar. that explains the "brain fog" and headaches..........with a fuzzy head im getting pounded online playing NHL10 since i started this lol

this works great for me, but its not for everyone. rather than just cutting out sugars...cut out the carbs except fibrous veggies like broccoli, green beans, spinach ect...... try to eat a little more clean, but you can still have beef, cheeses, eggs ect.

after 3-4 days of cravings and sluggishness on this diet, i get super amounts of energy.... part of how my metabolism thrives on ketones, which is what your body produces to burn (as sugar) from fat reserves, when you are in a calorie deficit.

works, great for me, and lot of other people i know in real life and on the internet. but some people can't and shouldn't do it.

Fruits are some of the worst things you can eat when trying to burn body fat. Not only that but fructose replenishes liver glycogen not glycogen stored in muscle. Arcamelo is probably losing weight because he's burning more calories and his metabolism is raised. It will soon adjust.

right on, fructose is the worst naturally occuring carb/sugar there is.

i'm not sure if an apple a day will keep the doc away, but it will keep your abs/six pack away LONG TERM, if you eat like 90% of americans

Nah serious you probably feel like shit because you are eating less. What was your calorie intake before your diet? Do not just cut your amount of food down by say half. You'll be starving your self. Work on eating healthier foods and getting more exercise than work on your portions.

Add a multi-vitamin or two to cover any deficiency's in your diet.

Not only that but fructose replenishes liver glycogen not glycogen stored in muscle. Arcamelo is probably losing weight because he's burning more calories and his metabolism is raised. It will soon adjust.

Nah serious you probably feel like shit because you are eating less. What was your calorie intake before your diet? Do not just cut your amount of food down by say half. You'll be starving your self. Work on eating healthier foods and getting more exercise than work on your portions.

I would not take in any sugar it will throw off your your glucose levels ten minutes after the sugar is digested you will be dropping your sugar count and you will sweat and get shakey and feeling like you are going to pass out. drink three cups of coffee a day this will help with those symptoms as long as coffee doesn't bother you. here are helpful hints during the day drink ice water very cold this forces the body to burn energy trying to get warm thus more calories, always eat breakfast when you are on a diet make sure you have one egg in the morning this helps . the worst thing to eat in the morning is any carbohydrate by itself you will be starving by 10 am and may even get a drop in sugar and feel very sick . try to have a piece of toast and one egg and 1 cup of coffee in the morning by ten or 11 have a piece of fruit , then around 12 to 1 have a tuna on wheat with a small salad no fancy dressings around three have 1 cup of skim milk with another piece of fruit , then at night protein with a small salad , about 8 at night 2 fraham crackers and a small cup of coffee. there are many types of diets mostly are high protein with very little carbs no simple sugars cut out all soda even if its diet that artificial sweetner causes you to hang onto a lot of fluid . listen if your serious about this i will help you i have alot of knowledge about every type of diet traditional or todays high protein low carbs drink alot of ice water ad multi vitamins if you still feel washed out or tired you have to add things like oatmeal.
