They told me Thursday they were working on the backlog of THIS weeks checks and my withdrawal (middle of March) could take up to three weeks. By the way, Hollywood said this week to me they are licensed in Antigua. I made a complaint with Antigua's Directorate of Offshore Gaming and they replied Hollywood was NOT licensed in Antigua. By the way, that website lists casinos, sportsbooks that ARE licensed and were very quick to reply to my complaint. My next company I will pick from their list of licensed companies!! I personally don't believe any of our calls or chats did a thing to help speed the process... Mine will be here Monday and I let everyone else do that calling, chatting, and hassling but if I would have done it would it have gotten my money to me any faster...? answer me this, in all your stupid anecdotes of businesses doing the same thing, has it ever involved:
1. the vast sums of money we are talking about? nearly 100k for some?
2. a flat out illegal activity for which there may or may not be recourse thru the legal system or credit card chargebacks?

after reading your past posts, our positions regarding the payouts are not that different. i thought we would probably be paid, and it worked out that we were (to a small degree). i never pretended to know what was going to happen. that is why i am relying on what the reps at SB tell me. we are all in the same boat. i'm fairly certain that you will receive your DHL check (which by the way, i was the first to receive and report) but i am curious if you get the full amount by DHL. that is what the purpose of this board is in my opinion. sharing information but i guess i was more tactful than you in refraining from ad hominem attacks.Comment -

I'll tell you how: Action Sports and Best Bet and most importantly, Aces Gold/Sports Market. Just a few of the books I got screwed at in my life.
Can you possibly tell me that Sports Market was held in less high regard than is Sportsbook.com. That book was supposed to be solid as solid can be, and they too were not exempt from taking the money and running.
I've been promised 20 things that didn't come true at Sportsbook.com in the last 5 weeks. If I am not to worry now, then tell exactly what point I should become a little concerned. I've got 7 g's tied up with them and unfortunately I invested 9 g's of my own money to get it.
I'm not talking about some big profit here, I'm talking about just getting a percentage of my money back, which unfortunately put me in a big financial hole because unlike the old days when I could take a hit and shrug it off, now 7 g's is a ton of money to me.
Please Shamswolf, if you do indeed get your money by DHL Monday, please post it here and let us know when you ordered it, if they put it back in your account, etc. and any other nuggets of info that may help those of us who have not got paid. Thanks.

i dont think anyone can tell you with 100% certainty, but i think there are good signs we will get paid eventually:
1. i personally received a check and others got their wire transfers, so they are at least paying people at some level;
2. they are still receiving phone calls and trying provide some semblance of customer service (although i think they are failing miserably or failed miserably by providing information they could not guarantee to be true);
3. even the A+ rated sportsbooks, e.g., wsex, are having delays in processing payouts.
I admit it is not awe-inspiring, but progress has been made in the right direction. hopefully, next week will ease all our concerns.Comment -
Not a 100K but Riddell does this sh*t to me all the time and EACH helmet is $125 without decals, masks yada yada and incase you are assuming NO I don't do just one or ten helmets at a time it much more so not a 100K but enough....

Until you actually have money in hand, don't assume for a minute you are going to be paid anytime soon. Back in february I requested 2 checks 2 days apart. The first check I got, the second one I am still waiting on. That is how quick things can stop. Jazettes relationship with Solidpay only lasted a week. Why do you have to talk like a putz to get your point across? What does their processor have to do with telling us lies? If sportsbook would have said we are having trouble with our processor and it may take a month or two to send out your withdrawal then people would be more understanding. At least a timeline would have been set. What "IF" sportsbook has to maintain their deposits and overall business to pay your stupid as*.? I don't get why everyone is so furious with sportsbook, if it wasn't for the fking conservative moral police like senator Frist, none of this would have happened, this happened because of legislation that was passed by our representatives, and not even debated at that, just attached on at the last minute to the port security bill- land of the free... right!
Sure sb lied and so on to buy time, but it's also quite possible that initial new processors backed out, or that the processors gave them a timeframe and are taking longer then sb was told ect...
Also im ok with them lying to some degree, if it prevents more chaos and the collapse of the site, meaning nobody gets paid. Obviously, it would have been nice if they said from the start that it would likely be 1 to 2 month delayComment -

Nobody said no businesses do the bs that sportsbook has pulled, of course situations like this happen, but that doesn't make it right. Most companies who do crap like this don't have many loyal customers. I said, it's a horrible way of doing business and in the end its going to hurt sportsbook even more. In the examples you have provided, are you happy with the situation? I'm guessing not, and as a customer anyone has a right to complain.
I think its real hypocritical to get angered by people who are complaining on this forum, while you're sitting their posting multiple messages bashing people and complaining about other people. Who cares, its their money, their right to complain. For the situation that was handed to them, they have a right to complain and not trust sports book. They are dealing with the unknown (which is to an extent their own fault-since they took a risk w/ using an offshore sportsbook) and people are genuinely worried that they might not get their money.
Are you going to continue to use sportsbook after this? And honestly, after the way this situation was handled, do you really think most of these customers will come back to using sportsbook? Further update on checks ... talked with a supervisor who said that despite the email saying it was sent, my check had not actually gone out. She claimed it was slated for the next batch, and blamed the misleading (arguably dishonest) nature of the your check has been sent email on computer system difficulties. (conceivably true, but that doesn't help their credibility at all.) She asked me to check back in a couple days for another update. So, we're hardly out of the woods yet, and definitely don't believe your check is sent until you actually are tracking it -- or better yet, until you actually receive it. Also, CS I guess hasn't been told who processes checks or whether checks are actually sent as promised, hence they may tell you that the system is slow to update. In short, another case of the right hand not knowing what the rest of the body is doing. I'm still cautiously optimistic, mind you, but I think it'd be foolish not to still have serious concerns given the apparent issues they are having working with their new processor(s) and the low volume of w/drawals they can actually send out.Comment -

I too have felt the wrath of Sportsbook, I have money that I may not receive, but lets be honest here - Sportsbook, as shady and as incredulous as this is, is not fleeing with our money. If they wanted to do that they wouldve closed down their doors a long time ago. Now their may be an ulterior motive at hand (i.e. collecting interest off of this tied-up money) but I SERIOUSLY doubt that any of us are ultimately getting stiffed. Neteller has done the same exact thing to many of us yet we seem to have the utmost assurance that they will pay. All I am saying is that Sportsbook's problem has risen from many processers being prohibited to provide service. I am in no way a Sportbook apologist and Sportsbook didnt have their ducks in a row regarding this issue, but I really do think that we will all, in due time (whenever that may be), get paid. waiting on a bank wire...
Did a bank wire through betonusa and it was sent out the 28th they say...they told me 7-10 then 10-15 days...I withdrew by check way back at the end of Feb. and have since switched to a bank wire since they weren't processing checks at the time...all in all, it's been 33 days since my first request of any method...not good...Comment
