The NFL took him out. 650k emails and they didn't want a published report on Snyder who is a complete turd. Probably lots of emails implicating various NFL owners and bigwigs in various shitty behavior so keep it quiet. But then Goodell got a stick up his ass and decided to wreck Gruden in retaliation for calling him a f\*g, etc. Leaks went to the WSJ and NYT instead of the usual bunch of NFL national beat guys. You knew something was up. They were going to keep it coming until Gruden quit or got fired.

Mark Davis got lucky, he had Gruden on a terrible 10 year deal and Gruden was average at best as a head guy. He was more media personality than good coach. Now Davis can maybe find someone better. As for Gruden and his ruined career, he can cry with his millions in the bank and go live the good life somewhere. But yeah, no one is coming to Chucky's football camp any more I'm afraid.
