#12If most of the key players stay healthy, I can easily see them in the AFC Championship game and if they have home field, they'll make it to the SB. They may have the best defense right now than they've ever had with a lot of young talent. As far as losing Gronk, they have a few new wideouts who are having a great camp and should be very productive with Brady feeding them. But injuries happen and only time will tellComment -

#13Would anyone be surprised if Gronk came back week 6 or so if there was an injury...
Their division has just been horseshit for 20 years its like they automatically are getting a 1st rd bye
Yeah its AFC Championship game. I can't think of 1 wildcard team that can go onto Foxborough divisional round and win
Maybe a team like Denver gets 1 good year out of Flacco and gives them a headache but that's about it.....KC no D and didn't get better.Comment -

#22Hard to say. Brady's probably in his last 1-2 years of being a god or this could even be the year he loses it. Father time always catches up, no exceptions
My guess is this is their last real run at another super bowl win for a looong timeComment -

#23I remember a Vegas trip in 2011 with my ex who knew damn near nothing about football.
I had Pats ML to close out a 6 teamer that was going to pay about three grand. I was trying not to pay too close attention to the game because it was her first trip to Vegas, but I was so pissed Pats down 17-0 at half at home and she could tell.
She asked what was bothering me. I told her. She said, don’t worry. New England will win. I asked what she’s basing her statement on since she really didn’t know anything about sports.
“They have Tom Brady,” she said.
Turns out she was right.Comment -

#25doubters starting even earlier this year. should remember this:
https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...s-dynasty.html
Montana was at the height of his game in 1990.. got derailed by the New York Giants, the only team that has given Montana trouble in the playoffs. Montana went 6-2 against the Giants in regular season but 2-3 in playoffs.
Brady is also at the peak of his career. the only teams that have given Brady trouble in the playoffs are the Manning brothers and the Ravens. Brady is 6-1 vs Ravens in regular season, 2-2 vs Ravens in playoffs.
dont get me wrong. Brady has proven me wrong multiple times and thats why he deserves to be called the greatest. Sooner or later he's gonna hang it up but really when is enough enough. he's got more rings now than Montana.. what else left does he have to prove? thought he should have listened to his wife and ride off in the sunset like Peyton Manning did but.. what if he gets knocked out like Montana did.Comment -

#28It's really unbelievable the excitement the Pats have brought New Englanders afters years (decades of floundering).
(exception being The Big Tuna's brief tenure)
Every year of The Dynasty they have lost or let go superb players, only to have equally superb players waiting in the wings.
Brady (TGOAT) will be (or is) 42 now. Even considering how great he takes care of his body, ya can't help but think he's one hit away from ending his spectacular career.
IMO, Gronk's loss was huge. But I said that about Welker, Amontola, and about 10 other guys.
Despite this, at Heritage the PATS are +335 to win the AFC.
The young gun (does anyone remember his father Pat Mahomes? Pitcher for the Braves among others) is at +375.
That AFC championship victory in Kansas City (IMO) gotta be one of the greatest games of all time (sans the 28-3 comeback)
Very excited about the upcoming season.
As Flounder would say: "Oh boy, is this great!"Comment -
