#45depends on Luck's calf and if his new young WR can stay healthy and actually make an impact to ease up the coverage on TY.colts defense will prob look weak early on again and improve as the season progresses just like last year. Drafted a guy who should develop quickly into the #1 CB. he has the RB who can be the perfect tools with a good line that can open up holes and are good pass catchers. Has Ebron and Doyle at TE.Originally posted by lakerboyAfc looks as weak as ever.Comment -

#46SB, maybe, playoffs yes.
If Sony Michael stays healthy that maybe becomes probable.
They've got proven pieces on offense, Michael, White at RB, Brady's best pal Edelman, and even though Watson ain't Gronk he's more than a serviceable tight end, and the Pats always seem to have enough defense to stay in games.Comment -

#48Sony Michael should be in for a monster year. He really didn’t break hardly any big runs last year but that seems more like a fluke than something that will continue. He showed the ability to break them in college.Originally posted by stevenashSB, maybe, playoffs yes.

#53i don't trust what they say... i already got burnt back in 2011. i don't buy tix to the game i'm attending until the game prior to that one is over so i know who is and isn't healthy to a certain degree of confidence. i want to attend week 3 vs Falcons with a buddy but I'm telling him we have to wait... don't care if i have to pay more. also want to make sure the opponent will have their best players healthy to see them in action like Matt Ryan, Julio... etcOriginally posted by 2daBankColts will be excellent if luck healthy but that starting to look like a HUGE IF!!Comment -

#54Makes sense, they definitely some lying Mfers. Colts 1st 5 or so games are pretty damn tough, they could really use luck on the practice field. Without him they could be in for a awful start, didn’t this injury take place way back in the spring? I’d be very nervous if I was a colts fan,, the division has improved a lot too.Originally posted by ThaTopMoroni don't trust what they say... i already got burnt back in 2011. i don't buy tix to the game i'm attending until the game prior to that one is over so i know who is and isn't healthy to a certain degree of confidence. i want to attend week 3 vs Falcons with a buddy but I'm telling him we have to wait... don't care if i have to pay more. also want to make sure the opponent will have their best players healthy to see them in action like Matt Ryan, Julio... etcComment -

#57they were still in the midst of getting all the new coaches, players, schemes going last year when they had to go to Gillette and play with a ton of big name players out with injury. Pats had a decent lead then let it get to a 1 score game before the defense made plays to pull away again. Luck was tossing the ball around to bums. Think Brady tossed 2 picks vs a young, immature defense that didn't have an identity yet and injuries and guys still coming back slowly but surely week 2 week from injuries (hooker, geathers)Originally posted by 49er41580Luck and the colts can never beat New England, games are always blowouts
that was one of my Body-Bag plays last season... Patriots spread vs Colts and the Colts put a scare into me and that play in that game for a while. I couldn't believe the fight they were putting up. Very different from the Pagano teams.
now they are a year later with more draft picks ready to contribute right away, a year later into schemes on offense and defense, right players to fit the schemes... etc.Comment -

#66Here's the thing with that though Harry.Originally posted by SEAHAWKHARRYI will place a Moneyline bet on them every week this season
If you wager the NEP's every week on the moneyline and say the Pats go 12 and 4 if the 4 losses are -300 on the average you would collect 1200 (based on 100 dollar bet) for each win, but lay out 1200 (4 x 300) on the losses.
So to turn a profit you need to go 13-3.

#70The ONLY way to get away with that is to wager every week on a team that will have a great chance to go undefeated in the regular season. That does not happen in the NFL. In College, Alabama and Clemson have lost two regular season games each in the past 4 seasons. 'Bama's losses came as -6 and -7 point chalk. Clemson's losses were a lot more expensive, coming as 23 point chalk each loss. Still, had you gone this route, you would be ahead, which is more than 90% of the clowns in here can say.Originally posted by stevenashHere's the thing with that though Harry.
