Why didn't Leonard take any meetings yesterday? Seems like he's stringing along at least the Lakers, possibly making them miss out on other free agents.

Not that it seems credible but the flagship station of the Rockets in Houston says the Raptors and Rockets have the framework of a deal in place for Leonard if he were to choose Houston. Right now they are saying the Rockets are a distant 2nd to the Clippers. Capela would be sent to the Kings and Gordon plus 2 1st rounders would go to Toronto. The Raptors would also take on Corey Joseph or Dedman. Dedman would be bought out and would sign with the Suns.

i just took the current betting odds and matched it up with sources.

now, as far as sources, they missed on KD by a mile (no one thought he would sign with the Nets) but they nailed it on Kyrie as they linked him to the Nets and were laser focused on that team being the one.

there is a lot of smoke coming out right now that it is the Lakers or the Clippers

A player to watch out for is Danny Green. He said where he signs depends on Leonard and Green hasn't committed to anyone yet despite being in high demand. But if we hear a report that Green is not returning to Toronto, that's probably a good sign Leonard is going to LA

Is this free agency stuff really important to anyone? I mean I'm Canadian and like to see Canadian teams do well but I could care less about Ka WHY or the Raptors in general. If they lost the finals I'd feel the same way today - indifferent (I didn't celebrate in any way and didn't watch any celebrations).

I guess as I've aged I realize that sports is just a temporary trivial distraction from everyday life. Actually more accurately - if I can't bet on it I'm not interested in it.

Not hating on anyone, just saying.

Don't think Rockets can afford him, can they?

They only have their MLE which is below his market value.

He would be perfect fit there though.

Wow. he guaranteed Kawhi is Not going to the lakers but the odds hung in vegas and offshore say the raptors and lakers are the two favorites.

As a Lakers fan I am getting a sense he just wanted to string the Lakers along to screw them over and they miss out on all alternatives to split up that max slot they got. And every single player linked to them if they were to divide that money among role players have signed already.
