    lol I mean that they're not allowing Magic to be at the meeting. Of course they can meet with Kawhi with their current representatives.

        Sounds right. If it were up to Uncle Dennis, LA would be a slam dunk. I think Leonard really does want to stay in Toronto though.

                No he probably just wants to know what Lebron is like to play with.

                  Boyz don't underestimate Jerry west here. Might be just the guy to close the greatest free agent acquisition in Clipper history. I'm holding on to this dream until kawhi says otherwise.

                        Hearing Raptors chances of keeping Kawhi are fading. A return to SoCal - either team - getting more and more likely.

                                  I could see Kawhi going to LA, but I think he likely waits until Lebron is gone, lebron is 35 and it doesn't makes sense for Kawhi to go from having his own country to be a second option on a team

                                    I think Leonard would still be the first option anyway. What I can't understand is the other way around. Why would Lebron want to play second fiddle to Leonard? If they win the title, I'd put Leonard as the strong favourite to win the Finals MVP. Or maybe Lebron actually doesn't care that much about that...

                                      Lebron cares about the number 6. as in 6 rings. if he can win that and be tied with mike and ahead of kobe, he gives a damn about finals mvp's. kobe is still credited with 5 despite shaq having 3 of those final mvp's.

                                          But that's exactly what I mean, Jordan has 6 Titles, 6 Finals MVPs. If he wants to surpass Jordan, it must be Finals MVPs... though at his age, it might be out of reach. So perhaps, he does just want to surpass Kobe.

                                              lakers have always been that way since going after Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Shaq, Kobe, Malone. after Jerry West left they kind of got away from it. but the teams with best players usually win. Jeannie is trying to get back to that.

                                                    I read he's meeting with the Lakers today. I also just read Leonard is considering going with KD to join the Clippers as package deal also..

                                                      Yes. Kawhi is a scorer plain and simple. Lebron has always been more of a facilitator.

                                                      Not the best analogy but:

                                                      Kawhi = Durant
                                                      Lebron = Curry
                                                      Davis = Thompson

                                                      Who won the 2 Finals MVPs? Durant of course.
