Only thing new I came across last night was more of a long term investment but I think it’s pretty amazing. Was looking at SDGR Shrodinger, they seem to have one of the best deep learning programs in the business and have ongoing partnerships with major pharma companies, especially Bristol myer squibs. They are a little extended right now so I’m watching but this and Purestorage are two AI/Healthcare software companies I want to own more of....AI software means you don’t have to spend years doing experiments and can be done via deep learning computers. I wld wait for 20/50 day retracements and go long on SDGR, PSTG, or GOOG to get exposure to deep learning on healthcare...this is the way of the future
Another area I want to get more aggressive is online gambling, I’ve been holding DKNG and GNOG for awhile, recently added Skillz, traded GAN and GMBL several months ago. But gambling legalization is accelerating as fast as cannabis in the US and I think unlike cannabis we cld see major institutional money. I will probably buy long options on DKNG and SKLZ at least through start of football season, May late September or December

So the first thing I think and I am not a financial advisor, I am literally a doctor who taught himself after seeing a documentary on Warren Buffett, I thought he seemed super smart and I liked his way of speaking and it inspired me to want to be like him. I then looked further, and to understand my background, I started off studying Art history and thought I wanted to be a classicist professor so I learned to approach anything craft I want to be good at by learning from the masters ie Michelangelo, Di Vinci, Plato, Aristotle..etc....it’s also same thing in medicine...Hippocrates, Avicenna, Osler, Dr. Oz....j/k...So, my advise is to take time to learn as much as you can, like getting sound sage ideological advise from the masters of investing and stock trading...
My recommendation wld be to start with Buffett, there’s plenty of interviews and I believe it’s an HBO documentary I mentioned before. Next I would watch interviews and lectures by Peter Lynch, he is extremely entertaining and just masterful idiomatically.
I think you’ll find there is no get rich quick trick that me or anyone can teach you, it’s really just hard work, like I don’t have an off switch, whether that good or bad I don’t know, it’s just me...in all honesty that’s all it ever takes to succeed at anything...just plain working your own ass off...nobody can hand you anything in life worth keeping...

Finally a little bit of action yesterday with a intraday break down candle in the S&P. Then a climb up the charts to end basically flat. Overall the SPY is making a bearish flag pattern on the hourly and 2 hour charts, but if the SPY gets to and starts closing hourly candles above the 392.30 level, the band will play on and I think that 400 is totally in the cards.
I'm still looking for a pivot point for the overall market to pull back, but as you all know, the trend is your friend until you find your friend banging that hot little trend you've been riding now for 6 months now. I'm not saying the trend is finished , but I get the feeling that my friend is making the moves on the trend and if not at 1st or 2nd base yet, the big hitter is on deck and just yammering to get an RBI here.

ETFs are a good way to buy a sector of stocks and protect you against individual stock black swan events. So for instance, you bought the oil etf one day, and the next day there is a giant oil well off the coast of some nice beach somewhere in Florida that blows up and starts leaking oil at the rate of about 1000 gallons a minute. That oil company will take a giant hit, but the overall ETF will probably go down as well, but not as much in terms of a percentage. It will also work the other way for good news as well. Overall ETFs kind of smooth out the tide in the sector they have a basket of stocks in.

I looked heavily once again at ETFs just last month.here’s what I found that was most interesting.
Backtested, MTUM is hands down the best performing ETF you can own long term. They rotate the portfolio based on technical momentum at undetermined intervals, so I wld say it’s semi-actively managed, usually quarterly but depends on the market volatility. I own just a few shares to watch and it has performed tremendously. I think it’s wise to periodically watch their portfolio allocation, a recent rotation to consumer cyclicals and communications was notable.
if I ever just wanted to take some time off from trading and not worry about my money, I would probably put it here.

Peter Lynch, Ohh my. If I would have had investible $$ back in the 80's. "Investment from the street" i.e. I was in the first Home depots and Outbacks (not financially) but unfortunately didn't have the resources or knowledge at that time. I did hold some shares in Magellan which I believe he managed way back when. Smart man!

Important to express/understand your objective. My portfolio is all over the place, but mostly Cannabis, Lithium, 5G, and EV. Not recommending but take a look at LIACF which is my speculative section of my portfolio. Also MARA and RIOT but they are somewhat tied to Bitcoin. I was in circa $4 PS so buyer beware. GL
