Do you disintegrate at a certain level of height? Why in the world would you drive for 35 hours instead of flying?

I assume that we can include in the reimbursement the travel costs to and from the airports in our hometown and in Vegas and the airline baggage costs, both on the way to Vegas and presumed duplicate on the way back (up to a total of $300 pp)?
