How can a country be in debt if it can print its own money? If we are lending money to banks at zero interest,
how can we owe interest on our debt?

Even if our debt was real, the US govt is the largest employer. Tell me how a govt employee pays for himself
and his over bloated pension on the taxes he pays? He doesn't, non govt employees pay for them. If there's not
enough private sector employees to pay for govt employees, guess what, you go in debt.
