The mic itself was fine. It was the audio/speakers piped into the debate hall audience -- which is irrelevant given that the audience was to stay silent anyway. There was zero affect on what was heard on TV. The people watching on TV heard exactly what he said. And it was not good. He has no one to blame but himself.
