some machines, not all, you can hit the "spin" button at any time before the reels "naturally" stop, ie, you don't let the spin run it's course, but rather you smack the shit out of the spin button soon after initially hitting it, stopping the reels in a different, earlier spot than they would have stopped if you'd just sat back and let the spin run its course.... mostly older machines are subject to this.....

I stood behind a bank of Quick Hits up in Tahoe. The ladies on the left few machines were playing one or two credits. The ladies on the right were playing max credits.
On the left, spin after spin brought Quick Hits in the window. They were all over, all the time. But the players weren't playing enough credits.
On the right, they hit a couple of nice ones but spin after spin only a few quick hits, if any would show.
The lower credit players were getting teased big time. I brought it up and they said it was happening all morning long.

man, if you only knew.... i got held up for five extra minutes one day at a local convenience store, by a couple who was so freaked out by my resemblence to tommy lee jones, looks and voice, that they had no qualms about asking me to recite lines from several of his f'n movies.... each time i did they'd freak the hell out, shriek and laff and yell "oh my God's"!!! etc.... made their day.....
one lady did walk by as I was getting photographed and said L'Auberge only let it pay out that big because I was getting "star treatment,".... at first I was clueless about what she meant, but then it hit me as usual......Comment -
and you're so right about 7-8 quick hits if youre playing less than max bet.... this black dude who looked homeless just this past weekend (we were in louisiana sund/yesterday) was on that same bank, and accidentally hit one line, one credit, and it spun him 8 f'n quickhits just like it did me.... at first he starts yelling in joy, then he starts yelling in anger it only paid him $50 bucks.... i pointed out he played only one line at the lowest level.....
he looked like he was gonna cry, til i told him no way it hits 8 for you if you were playin' 3 bucks per spin.... so don't sweat it.... meanwhile, best I did was hit six of em four separate times short stoppin it, for about $150 per hit..... most i cashed out up on that bank was about $350 for 20 mins worth of jimmying the fuk outta the machine.....
wife jimmied "lobstermania 2" for $800 plus on a $2 spin....
in hte end tho, we broke even on slots, me up, her down, evened out, and I was up $1100 playin poker.....Comment -
