#947The thing is though he doesn't need to know every single in and out of Washington in order to be effective. Any good leader knows how to delegate responsibilities and would be able to listen to a table of 150, actually listen to them all and then come up with a solution and act upon it.
Political bs gets in the way so many times but Trump imho looks like he is the best suited to make a decision, act upon it, even if it may be erroneous.
You have to trust the president to push the red button if it comes down to it right?
Truman pushed the button....that simple act is probably number 1 all time balls of steel and he has to be in the top 3 presidents of all time for that one.
I am still bitter over the McCain comments but let me just say I will have the DVR ready for Thursday.Comment -

#948Jay I think you would be surprised at how much he has listened to over the years.
D2B the guy is aware of the image he is portraying to the media. He doesn't look or sound refined at all and he probably won't have the best diplomatic tact we have ever seen but I will say that the kind of respect he would get in calling an idiot and idiot will inspire more "regular" citizens than the guy that adjusts his tie and takes a sip of seltzer water to relax.
The female vote is probably what will inevitably be his downfall otherwise the rich are not going to like how this shakes out imo.Comment -

#950Nearly a dozen presidential candidates already have been campaigning in the Silver State, which will host the first caucus in the West in February after those in Iowa and New Hampshire.
It's a telling sign that Nevada is again a battleground state, which means the about two dozen candidates will be hashing it out to seize the attention of the state's more than 985,198 registered voters.
With all those candidates to choose from, it's no mystery why many voters haven't made a decision.
Nevada's Hispanics, which make up 27 percent of the state's population, are no exception, according to interviews conducted over the past few weeks in Las Vegas.
Though these Hispanics haven't chosen their candidate, they are sure of three things. They don't like Republican candidate Donald Trump. They're not buying the immigration proposals espoused by the GOP candidates. And they're going to vote for a Democrat.
"Many Latino voters are waiting to see which candidate best represents their views, and which do not," said Fernando Romero, president of Hispanics in Politics, Nevada's oldest Hispanic political organization.
"In this election cycle, the Latino community will take a closer look at the candidates to see how viable they are. I don't think many of us are going to be making a decision tomorrow. Because the candidates are still coming in," he said.
Nevada is home to more than 767,054 Hispanics, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Thirty percent of the people living in Clark County are Hispanic.
Ernest Acosta, 75, said he is looking at Hillary Clinton as the next president in the White House, and he thinks fellow Democrat Bernie Sanders has good ideas about wealth distribution.
"Hillary has got no experience as president," he said "But her husband does. When (Bill) Clinton was in office, everyone was good. Everyone was making money. Everyone was buying houses."Comment -

2016 Republican and Democratic Presidential Polling Results for Nevada conducted
by Gravis Marketing. The results show that GOP Presidential candidate Donald
Trump has a commanding lead of 27.7%, with recently announced Presidential
Candidate Scott Walker in second with 15%. In third is Ben Carson with 7.8%
with Jeb Bush a point behind at 6.8%. Marco Rubio rounds out the top five
with 5.4%. Undecided voters remain high at just over 20%.
With polled Hispanics, Presidential Candidate Trump received 31.4%, higher
than his overall performance of 27.7%. The only other Presidential Candidate
to receive double digit support by Hispanics is Scott Walker with 11.4%.
Continuing to extend his poll leads, his popularity among voters seems
impervious to controversy truly Don Trump is a phenomenon & the most
remarkable candidate our primaries have produced on either side’ & ‘he has a
strategy which is original & incomprehensible. There are no theories
by which one can calculate with any degree of certainty
what Trump is up to. I personally believe you'll see the roll out of the
'Trump charm offensive' in the Thursday debates & it will be effective!Comment -

#956most hispanics are NOT stupid. They are great people. Every group has their bad apples and its not exclusive to hispanics. The far fringes on the left and also on the right are ignorant (King Mayan, scumbag). You could say stupid but definitely hypocrites. We have all heard them talk before.

#957because most hispanics are good hard working people with common sense and don't get caught up in the media bullshit like boycotting Macy's etc. In fact most people are. That's why his popularity is only getting stronger despite the vocal minority with their bias agenda. You know who you are.
They understand when someone is being literal or when someone is saying something to make a point. Just as when someone says they saw a comedian at a club and they said "I laughed my head off." The vast majority don't actually believe the comedy club was filled with decapitate audience members after the performance.Last edited by DwightShrute; 08-03-15, 10:58 PM.Comment -

By the end of interview, he had her and the rest of the round table laughing their asses off. When someone puts it on Youtube, watch the phone interview. They even believe his numbers will go up from here. They couldn't come up with one fault after the interview. This is on the liberal station. Unless something "EXTREMELY" dramatic happens, for the first time, I actually believe no one can beat this guy. Trump is as teflon as they have ever come right now.Comment -

#963Trump Supporters by the Numbers
Deeper analysis of the polls reveals that Trump's supporters tend to be young, less well-educated, not affluent and – surprisingly – most are not extreme in their right-wing ideology.
Trump's straight-shooting rhetoric and eschewing of political correctness is, to this point, playing well with young voters. Among those between the ages of 18 and 49, Trump sits at 28% of the vote, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll taken in July 2015. In older age brackets, his support falls sharply: Only 20% of voters 50 and older would choose Trump.
Education level serves as the most striking area of contrast between Trump supporters and non-supporters. The candidate has a whopping 32% support from voters with no college degrees. Among college-educated voters, his support falls all the way to the single digits, at just 8%.
For a man who loves to brag about his elaborate wealth, Trump polls surprisingly well with voters who have little wealth of their own. Among those with incomes of less than $50,000 per year, 31% back Trump.
Perhaps most surprising about Trump supporters, given the candidate's tendency toward incendiary rhetoric, is that most do not espouse extreme right-wing views. Republicans who classify themselves as very conservative prefer Scott Walker over Trump by a margin of 25 to 17%. There is also no statistically significant gender gap among Trump supporters: In the Post poll, he claimed 25% of the male vote and 23% of the female vote.

shows Trump smashing opposition in all factions of the Republicans tent.
The Monmouth poll found Trump pulling support from all factions of the party.
Trump has a 20-point lead over Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker among Tea Party
supporters, and leads him by 11 points among those who identify as “very
conservative.” Trump has an 8-point lead over Bush, a former Florida governor,
among those who identify as “somewhat conservative,” and also leads Bush by
8 points among those who describe themselves as moderates.Comment -

Racists, ignorant, poor I'm sure love him if you wanted the opposite of president Obama it would Trump. The backng he's getting is eye opening to me for a number of reasons race relations race in general is going backwards. Would be more embarrassing than J.W. #969Trump's supporters have the fewest numbers of college graduates for an obvious reason.
college graduates believe every culture is equal (which is a lie), therefore they find Trump's truth-telling 'offensive'.
college graduates believe in on-demand abortion, anything less is a 'war on women'.
college graduates believe big government will improve their lives (despite dumping 20T debt on them and forcing them to pay for elders' healthcare).
college graduates believe every corporation is evil, and despite having the highest taxrate in the world, should be forced to stay here and pay employees more.
Millennial college graduates are the most naïve, gullible idiots on the planet. To say 'look, the best and brightest vote democrat!' is just a measure of how brainwashed these idiots are. The economy is going to get worse as the gov debt grows, and flooding the U.S.A. with 3rd worlders is going to turn it into a shithole. Trump seems to be the only candidate who genuinely loves America and doesn't want to see it given away to illegals.
it seems voters without a college degree are smart enough to know we don't want our cultural identity given away to a bunch of illegals. In California yesterday a city has 2 illegal aliens on the city council lol.Comment -

#972No, I've always been conservative capitalist. I'm the only one in my age group though (I'm 28).
Literally everyone my age bought into the lies academia told us. They couldn't connect the dots that colleges get rich off gov student loan dollars, and have every incentive to promote big gov.
'gee, if the gov takes my paycheck, we will create a utopia!'
'the u.s. is successful because we oppressed other cultures!' (despite the fact that whites invent most everything)
these idiots elected Obama twice, who placed an additional 10 trillion in debt on us, then forced us to pay higher health insurance rates so women can get free birth control. what a phucking joke.
they also believe whatever jon stewart tells them. the liberal media directs them like good little sheep.
it will only get worse from here on out, they are slow to wake up from the damage done by socialist policies and irresponsible government.

#973Obama lover
A follower of Barrack Hussein Obama. Someone who blindly follows Obama no mater what he says or does. Most Obama lovers are liberals who reject any valid criticism of Obama, and often refer to his critics as "racists". Obamalovers are often unreasonable and are not able to partake in any discussions that might have negative reflections on Obama.
1) That Obama lover doesn't understand that printing and spending money without the wealth to back it up will cause severe inflation and devalue the dollar.
2)That Obama lover became really upset when I told him that I thought Obama was inexperienced and unqualified to serve as president.Comment -

While I live conservatively, I want my govt to protect me. I want clean water and air. I don't want corporations
undercutting what they make causing safety hazards. I want my govt to protect me from banks, food producers,
criminals and from other nations that want to do us harm.
I might live conservatively, I am a Dem, knowing full well when our tax money leaves our hands, we have
no say in how it's spent. Frankly, I don't care so long as the road I travel is paved and lives around me improve.
Your employer doesn't tell you how to spend the money he gives you, why should you tell the govt how to spend
the money you give them? That almost 20T is nothing but a number used to scare people. When you can print
your own money with nothing to back it up, that 20T is nothing.
I don't share the college kids sentiment, I just don't like the Repubs tone, never have. I'm not a hypocrite
and won't be attached to a party who are. I believe in working for what I have and will fight to the death
those trying to take it. You could call me a conservative Dem, if there is such a thing.Comment -
