I have traded since age 14, 22 now. This market is pretty much a joke right now. Bad news is just "kinda bullish" which makes no sense, actual "good" news is deemed SUPER INSANE BULLISH BUY BUY BUY. When the bottom falls out, the retail mom and pop investors will be hurt the most, like usual. Oh and btw, F$$K HFT.

Only way to make money in today's stock market is scalping meaning very short duration trades
That's not true .. I have been shorting Russell 2000 stocks, and a lot of them really suck.

think you are confusing the word 'news' with 'lies' or 'deception'.

kinda like 255K jobs being added when the reality was about 900K part time jobs added and 650K full time jobs lost. do the math on that one.

i don't know how you can get that across to the SBR forum. these guys are the suckers. they don't realize all that money is going directly into the stock market. of course it does not move from point A to point B. the market is more like point G along a very convoluted route taking money that doesn't exist, and by its very creation reduces the value of every dollar currently in circulation, to pay ourselves to cover the interest on our debts.

sad part is none of these criminal government fukks will ever go to jail. just blame wall street again. 2 guys will get picked at random to take it in the pooper and lose $20 million for a year. 5 years later they will quietly return to wall st and get back into the circus and get their money back. and it will happen again. and again. and again.

I was on Fast Money University with CNBC in 2007, and a whole bunch of dumfukks were asking about how to get long tech stocks. Jerry Yang's coach (WSOP) is a total fukkin douchebag, and asked a dumb question about how high the market can go. Right before stocks started going down.

Dylan Ratigan is actually really cool, and Macke and Najarian are definitely trading desk guys.

The others .... well .... those are the ones that you are referring to.

The rest of CNBC can go fukk themselves.

No - South American and African farmland is FAR SUPERIOR.

Change in rules coming for farmers in the USA - be wary.

That's why if you can grow the non-GMO stuff in those continents, it's worth $$$ ... most of the demand for organics is from the wealthier Asian areas.

Jerry Yang's coach (WSOP) is a total fukkin douchebag, and asked a dumb question about how high the market can go. Right before stocks started going down.

Dylan Ratigan is actually really cool, and Macke and Najarian are definitely trading desk guys.

The rest of CNBC can go fukk themselves.

Daddy Bush fukked us in the ass with his "No New Taxes" bullshit. Then his spending on wars we shouldn't have been fighting, billions on his BS war on drugs, largest budget deficits in US history, highest unemployment in history, drove us into an economic recession. He screwed me by increasing the marginal tax rate but largely by phasing out exemptions for high earners and increasing the capital gains tax. His NAFTA agreement hurt many low income workers in the US and we are just now feeling the effect with so many people bombarding our borders as a result. Black Monday under his watch saw the largest single day drop in the stock market, worst than the collapse of 1929. Most people's 401k's plummeted 30% in a few hours. While the economy went from bad to worse. No I didn't make any money under daddy Bush.

George W reduced tax rates and capital gains but we had the mortgage crisis and increased government spending, the most since Lyndon Johnson, adding to the national debt. Bush's cuts reduced the capability of funding Social Security, Medicare, schools, research, local infrastructures. Education in America was obliterated under Bush. We use to be one of the smartest nations in the world. Today, we are one of the worst. Bush's lack of investing in our youth is to be blamed.

I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I don't give a shit about either party. I am an opportunist and I'm pro America. I made money in spite of the Bush's. They had nothing to do with it. I will give them credit for building up the state of Texas (where I currently live). The state has had a lot of success the past decade and they were a big reason.
                                                            just something I came across....

We're only looking at 3 indicators here: Gas prices (green line), the unemployment rate (red line), and the S&P 500 (blue line), since really, those are the kinds of numbers that really relate to how people feel day in and day out. For simplicity, we're starting the charts right at the beginning of 1989.

As you can see, the stock market (blue) did fantastically under Bush, gaining nearly 60% in 4 years.
