pot 1 is the top 7 teams + the home team.

the rest are organized based on region, they are not "screwing" the usa, they are in the pot with concacaf and asia teams because that makes an even 8 teams. hard to say they always screw them since 2010s group was weak as hell anyways.

you have pot 2 which is south america and africa teams plus 1 uefa team since pot 4 has 9 uefa teams, likely this is where the corruptness will be in the draw if anywhere.

the swiss being top seed must be the biggest joke ever, about time to redo the fifa rankings, no way that team is top 8 in the world.

also no more then 2 UEFA countries in each group.

POT 2 3 4 are based on region of qualification, Pot 1 is based on top 8 fifa

They will put balls(with a piece of paper that has the nation on it) into the pot and do the draw from there.
