#71Easy. You point to their lame, weak, sorry-ass schedule. I saw an interesting stat this week. Tennessee played their 5th consecutive top-10 team this week. OSU has played 5 top-10 teams during the regular season since 2006.Comment -

#80Bama will be a very tough out but they are far from unbeatable.
If the LSU running back hangs on to the ball for 1 more foot and they dont completely botch a shotgun snap - thats a completely different ball game saturday night.
And thats not a great LSU team.Comment -

#81Common misconception bettors make based on Sabans recent success. Maybe you can help explain as to why he is 8-6 in bowl games? FSU is light years beyond the Notre Dame squad Bama faced in the NC game last year. If the BCS NC game does pit Bama vs FSU I will be going huge on FSU + whatever, plus ML. Just my opinion.Originally posted by byrdpickemThey look unbeatable. But you give Saban a month to prepare and...well, you know.Comment -

Winston has driven FSU to 7 TD's in the first 20 minutes of the game against a Syracuse defense that hasn't given up a TD in it's last two games coming in.
Bama backers really should reconsider if it's FSU, if Bama even gets past Auburn.Comment -

#102Winston didn't play in 2nd half.Originally posted by edheretowinAre you not watching the current game? 59-3. They were up 38-0 at halftime and just took Jamis out. They need to run it up to stay in 2nd so if he did say that, and mean it, he's singin a different tune know.
They will stay in 2nd regardless. Only why they drop out of the top 2, is with a loss.Comment -

#104In 2003 the same thing was said about Oklahoma. "Greatest Team in History". They lost their last 2 games when it counted.Originally posted by stevenashNobody! That's who.
In 2005 the same thing was being said about USC. "Dynasty" (even though they had 1 crystal ball). Lost to UT.
In 2011 LSU was being talked about as having one of the greatest teams of all time b/c of the resume (beating the orange bowl champion, the rose bowl champion, and even the team they were playing in the NCG). They lost by 21.
Every single year it has seemed for a while people say the same thing about Oregon. "who can stop that offense?" A disciplined, attacking defense has done it each time. 0 NC's for Oregon's vaunted offense and their uni's.
FSU definately looks impressive but (SEC homer here - LSU fan) let them line up against Alabama and see what happens.Comment -

#105Hard not to score, or not "run up the score", when you score on a fumble recovery and long rushing TD's. The 3rd string QB, which is now the backup, needs game experience. So he got to throw a little bit. Which also included a nice touch pass for a TD.Originally posted by edheretowinAre you not watching the current game? 59-3. Fisher was not running up the score. They didn't even score in the 4th.
