Playing Boston series for 6 units, which is a decent sized play for me. This price is off because of the way Verlander and Scherzer pitched last series. They were great, but this Sox lineup is much, much better than the A's. Much more patient, discipline bunch that will drive pitch counts up, and when that happens, I don't trust Detroit's bullpen at all. Big home field advantage. Don't trust that Cabrera is really healthy yet. -120 is great value in this spot.

Don't mean to toot my own horn, but this is already happening boys. Sanchez up over 50 pitches through two. Detroit's bullpen is garbage and the Sox are going to have their way with it. Biggest key to the series.

Pitching is about movement and how many pitches you have movement on. Throwing 100 mph fastball means nothing if you don't have movement on it. Plenty of Triple A and Double A pitchers who can throw a 100 mph (fake 100 mph that TV stations use). Pitchers ability changes from game to game. Hitting is much more consistent.

True. But det starters go 7 innings minimum. Sanchez had the lowest era in the al and he's their third pitcher. i think they all will go a min of 7 innings so bullpen will only be a factor in 1 or 2 games max. it won't decide more than 1 game for bost imo. bost pitching blows. it will be a good series. tigers are much better than last year where they made it to the world series so that's why i like them.
