The eye test is my weapon of choice. I have seen Ryan get hit a few times during the course of a game and become a complete vagina. That is not a small sample it is his whole career he doesn't choke he slips in his pucie juice something someone doesn't overcome in their 30's. Seatle will try to manufacture some pressure without Clemons. If they are successful early in this game it is a rap. Atlanta has problems stopping the run and Seatle will punish them in that department. Atlanta is soft Seatle is wicked pysical this is a mans sport boys take the hard ass Seatle Seahawks they are much better lean.

technically 3 lol. if chris clemons was in, i would not be as confident in my atlanta play, but since they have 3 pass rush specialist in this game, i can see them continually running past screens and draws. they are all about getting to the QB. if matt ryan has a clean pocket which i expect him to, considering the Oline will not need to double team and will allow their lineman to go 1on1 and seattle from what i understand seldomly blitz, he can have a field day with that secondary. last week the seattle secondary was consistently getting beat on double moves by the skins but they could not catch the ball. IMO, roddy and julio on the outside are crisp route runners and are just as physical getting off of the line. last time they played a physical WR by the name of brandon marshall they let him get loose for 10 rec and 165 yards and all they had to do was protect 1 passing option. when they played the lions, they shut down johnson but titus young got loose for 100 yards and 2 tds. this is the 2nd time they will face a team with more than 1 viable passing option and 3 probowl caliber receivers not including jacquizz rodgers out the backfield and harry douglas coming out of the slot.

they already surprised me. they surprised me by struggling to beat a 1 legged QB. winning by 10points on the box score does NOT tell teh story

I'm not biased here. Did I say Falcons will win easily? I'm just pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of each team.

The problem for Atlanta is that their strength (passing offense) will be going against a defense that is very well suited to defend it.

Conversely, Seattle's strength (the power running game) is well equipped to handle Atlanta's defensive front. So, in essence, Seattle is strong where Atlanta is strong and Atlanta is weak where Seattle is strong.

And who told you that the Falcons game plan is to pass the ball in this game?

You can't be serious. Have you seen Seattle's run defense? You have a better chance of driving a sled pulled by a chihuahua through 10 feet of snow for a hundred miles before you get through that wall.

They have the best defense in the NFL overall, yes. I should say in the playoffs. In the regular season they were ranked 4th overall.

Washington ran all over Seattle? Morris was their rush leader and he only had 80 yards.

Why? How do you know how good Atlanta's offense is? They average 28 points a game.

So they have the best rush defense and the best pass defense too? lol
Pretty close. SEA is #1 in fewest pts allowed, top 10 in ever other major defensive category.

One thing about this game, SEA will not go away. It will take 60 mins or more to beat them.

But I do like Matt Ryan in this spot. He's got a solid history of getting it done with the game on the line.

Matt Ryan has a solid history of choking in Playoffs. And no I'm not in High School.LOL..Seattle has a preatty good chance of continuing Matts Playoff woes..We have to hit em hard and fast and not get down 14 pts 1st qtr.I really feel our Defence can contain Atlanta's passing game and Marshaun Lynch WILL get over 100 yards And Wilson's ability to extend plays with the read option will be the determining factor in this game

Peyton Manning's first 3 playoff games went similar to Matt Ryan's, but Peyton was able to overcome it.

Let's not forget what happened when the Falcons played Eli Manning and the Giants in Week 15. Most would agree that the Giants possess one of (if not the most) vaunted pass rushes in the NFL. They have incredible depth at the OLB/DE positions to allow for a wide variety of schemes and play calls, giving them a measurable advantage over mediocre OL's. I think the fact that Atlanta went into the game in Week 15 and drew up plays and packages that allowed them to be successful against the pass rush of the Giants only speaks to the overall coaching advantages that the Falcons have at their disposal this year. After last season's playoff loss to the Giants, Mike Mularkey (OC at the time) took a job as Head Coach in Jax and the Falcons hired Dirk Koetter as their new OC. Now I'm not saying that the Falcons run a better offense than the one that MM had in place while he was with the team, because Koetter didn't bring in a new and revolutionary way of running the offense (he actually took it upon himself to learn the new schemes that the team already had in place as not to disrupt a team that clearly wasn't doing anything overtly wrong). What I am saying, however, is that maybe this is just a new 'type' of Falcons team than what we've seen in the past. Under Koetter it seems as though they're not so entirely focused on themselves and how they're going to play, but more-so on what the team they're going to line up across from presents and how to exploit what they think they're going to be up against.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Falcons come out with a very specific and poignant gameplan that allows them to succeed against a very talented and confident Seahawks team - much like they succeeded against the Giants in Week 15.

Their defense was horse shit and the DL was nonexistant and gassed 2nd half. There is a reason why Seattle is in the playoffs, and one of the hottest teams right now, and the giants are home jerking off to their superbowl highlights of last year.

Also, going into Georgia and playing a team that was perched on top of the NFC (a title I'm sure the Giants wanted Atlanta to know was still theirs) would most likely motivate any team with half a heartbeat. Boiling it down to 'horse shit' defense and being gassed doesn't add up.
