Why are the Lions playing like the Patriots and the Patriots playing like the Lions?

Wow I stopped watching this game with the Saints up 20-6, and then I comeback and see them losing 27-23. But when I started watching again, the usual happened, Saints score.


Anyways, I lost by half a point. The usual case with most my losses.


Luckily, all my parlays and teasers are still alive. I had a lot on Saints just winning.


Looking for that strong finish in New York.

Seriously. Dallas got 2 lucky scores, with that 60 yard run by Austin and Bush fumbling it. He basically cost the cover with that fumble. In fact, I'd say the Lions played the Patriots better than Dallas played the Saints. Just the Cowboys were luckier.


But it's okay for me at least. Jets just need to show up and do their things and I finish well.

What game did you watch? Saints controlled the game throughout and ALL of Dallas's TDs were either off TOs or their WR running 50+ yards for a score ().

We saw what Dallas was made out of in clutch time, and we saw what the Saints were too.




Anyways whatever. Congrats on my ATS loss. I am really pissed off despite probably cashing in at the end of the day. A loss always hurts. Going to make up my ATS record this weekend with a couple of nice plays.

That's my biggest play of the day. Only sad part was that I wrote Risk 10 to Win 13, but as you know the return is a little more than that (+160 not +130). I would change it but you know how everyone on SBR will jump on me for that lol.

The NO/DAL game went as expected. DAL played hard in their ritual turkey game and Brees torched the secondary. I think the mistakes on both sides evened out, and if you were on the Saints you deserve to lose if you didn't get the early -3 line.

It should be a lesson to all the uninformed that if you are going to play a favorite you take the line when it immediately opens or else you're giving up value. There's no reason to wait during the week unless A) possibility of very bad weather B) significant injuries pending C) fading a public favorite.

I got it as early as I saw it. I usually 1st check lines on Tuesday. I guess it was too late.


But no Saints were covering almost the WHOLE GAME. It's not like Dallas was putting together good drives to score. Saints TOs and a lucky Austin 60 yard run is how they scored. Luck pretty much. Saints earned their points by driving down the field. But at least they had some luck at the end. Oh well.

I'd say good day overall. 27.6 units? Yeah. Not perfect though.

Though I deserve some credit hitting 2/3 picks, I have to hand it to my pick management team that had a great combination of parlays/straights/teasers, that led me to a 5-1 record for the day in picks that had + odds. I mean I correctly called 2/3 games, but I still finished 5-1, including winning most my New Orlean plays. The only disappointment was I lost my Saints ATS pick.


But this day was kind of expected. My analysts predicted a day I would be in the 80+ unit for season, and should be over a 100 by the end of the week.
