damn i have been getting kicked in the nuts. I just smashed Hamilton over 1st Q over 10, game over and HAM plus 1.5. so if you like money bet the other way.

Okay now that I have had ample time to get over Durant's performance as a home dog with my money riding on him, I am going to chalk it up that he had a bad performance and hopefully he will play better for me in the future. The schedule is nice for the upcoming week and now that I have taken alka seltzer I am ready to build that bankroll back up. I will be taking Sasky again next week, so he'd better get lots of reps this week. They were embarassed in the worst way. There will be a foul mood in practice this week. Edmonton is just plan bad and not well coached/motivated. They have the look of a team that is giving up. Sasky is headed to the playoffs despite the bad loss.

Call me crazy but I actually like Hamilton against Montreal. Sasky had horrid quarterback play. Hamilton isn't even interested in throwing the ball as much as they are at rnning the ball. That is always great when taking a doggie. I think that the Tiger-Cats are an up and coming team getting a double digit line!

Love this pick. Couldn't agree more. Edmonton looks lost and is poorly coached. I like Richie Hall but he looks out of his league here. Sask is a good bet in this game.

This one I don't like as much. Consider...
-Hamilton only won against a horrible Winnipeg team after Kevin Glenn came in to relieve a struggling Porter. Who will start this week? Likely Porter but how much patience will coach MB have? There are some small signs of locker room tension starting to show and a few too many questions marks here.
-Both teams have a short week but Hamilton has to travel. Its a short trip but still travel and Montreal is notoriously hard on rookies. Waiting to see the team's travel schedule to see how much difference this will make.
-Hamilton K Setta is still nursing an injury. Looked better this past weekend but still not 100%. Going to find out this week how it looks in practice. Kicker is a bread and butter player in the CFL.

Also, I don't agree that Hamilton isn't interested in passing. Their two starting runners are injured leaving them with a starting rookie. According to the stats, Hamilton is right in the middle of the league in run/pass mix, leaning only slightly to the run side compared with the rest of the league. They will abandon the run quickly if it fails to work early.

Of course it will all depend on where the line comes out on this game. Should be interesting to see. Good luck to all.

It's very hard to go against Montreal in this position. At 3-0, the yards they have been generating are scary. They limited Sask to only 10 points in the hardest stadium to play in. And now they are returning home. This is so one-sided that it's scary. The contrarian might say Hamilton but everything points towards blow-out! The line may even be up to +13.

I likes the Sasky play the most on the board. I am through doing totals in the CFL for right now and sticking to sides.

I have been talked off of the Hamiltonians.

Kind of hard to think that the BC Lions have fallen so much that now they are getting points at home even if it is Calgary. I'm gonna have to check out the line movement on this one. Calgary broke a streak of losses at BC last year and has beaten the Lions five straight times by an average of 7.8. But in games at BC they have a record of 1-3 straight up. So what makes this occasion so big that the Lions should all of a sudden start getting points at home to Calgary. The Stamps aren't even playing well enough to deserve to be a road favorite at this point. If BC doesn't turn the ball over that much they at the very least have a shot.

CK my book gives me Sasky -5. Is that ok by you? They also have BC +3.

Give it a go, Vreston. Sasky is gonna pulverize this team. The line should have been around 8 anyway after an embarrassing defeat like that. BC is gonna win outright.

Love BC +3.5 CK. I wish I had played it when it came out but it was one of those lines that was so unexpected, you feel like you missed something and you have to go back and cap it again. By the time I knew I liked it, it was down to 2.5. C'est la vie.

I play mostly totals in NFL pre-season and yes. Playing the totals is the way to go. There are also coaches that don't care about the outcome of preseason games. That may change in Indy where we have a new coach that may care about winning pre-season games, or in Cleveland, and so on. So I am gonna stay away from sides as best i can with a lot of these unkown undertones. I mean how can you take the Bears? Just because they signed some people? That doesn't mean that they have jelled as a unit yet.

Just so you'll know I used the Bears because they are one of my faves. I don't even know why I like them. For some reason I am a die hard Bears fan. Of course the Raiders too but that's another story...the wrong person is starting at qb, but Al won't admit it. Garcia is the one...
