Montana State already battled one PAC-12 team, losing by six to Arizona State. Now, they get Utah which looks to be all the squad rated by most to finish last in the PAC-12 this season. The Utes barely beat a NAIA-1 squad in San Diego Christian to open their season and then got squashed on the road against Boise State. Montana State has some shooters who can exploit a Utah defense that has allowed 40% shooting from beyond the arc. Maybe Montana State falls flat on their faces, but this match-up looks pretty even at-worst and from what Utah has shown, they'll need to play their best game to compete.Comment -

Wolfpack get CJ Leslie back. Vanderbilt is without Jenkins. Not having Jenkins didn't hurt against Bucknell, but the Wolfpack have a ton more talent here and will be looking to score a resume win. Vanderbilt has struggled defensively and isn't shooting particularly well. If NC State can start fast and integrate Leslie smoothly into the game plan, they should have a shot to pull of a win.Comment -

Texas-Oregon State Over 148 [-105]
Should be a good tempo to this game as both teams have been averaging possessions in the high 70s early in the season. The Longhorns have totaled 182 points in two games with Ja'Covan Brown a one-man wrecking crew so far. He's gotten help from Julien Lewis as both are shooting the deep ball well. Kabongo provided some inside punch last game and made it to the FT line 17 times. UT did a great job getting to the line as a squad with 44 FT attempts against Rhode Island and will need to maintain that aggressiveness. Oregon State is getting great production from Jared Cunningham who topped 30 last time out. The Beavers also have solid help from Collier inside. They have also been great getting to the charity stripe with 111 attempts through three games. Expect UT to continue to pound the threes against an Oregon State squad that has not defending the arc that well and if both teams get to the line like they have early this season, the OVER should yield a great shot.Comment -

This is another one that features two teams that like to push the tempo. Both are averaging around the mid 70s in # of possessions per game so far. Duquesne likes to press to apply that tempo and by making 47% of their shots so far, they have proven successful in that manner. Valpo has been solid defensively, so it will be a challenge for the Dukes. Valpo should be able to score against this Duquesne D that is allowing 46% shooting from the floor. Both teams have been to the FT line plenty as well which always helps the case. Both teams shooting 71% or better from the line.Comment -

Marquette has been very efficient on offense and tallied 90+ in three games. Ole Miss is struggling from the field and from the line. Ole Miss plays solid D, but they have not seen anything the likes of the Golden Eagles yet. Darius Johnson-Odom has been solid so far for Marquette and along with Crowder and Vander Blue, this is a talented team with lots of scoring depth.Comment -

Morgan State +18 [-110]
Morgan State has another tough test today at UNLV. These are two experienced squads. Morgan State has already played a couple of teams that could be in the running for their respective leagues, losing by eleven to both Xavier and Murray State. Morgan State has a good inside combo of Thompson and Jackson that must produce for this game to be close. Vegas has an efficient offense with four returning starters. Fully expect UNLV to pull off a win here, but the amount of points seems large considering that Morgan State is a competent squad. They must shoot well and avoid turnovers.Comment -
