UNC draws South Carolina in a neutral setting. The Gamecocks are really struggling to score, shooting just 39% from the field. Going against a Tarheel D that is allowing just 27% shooting so far won't help cure that. SC has hard a hard time putting away teams with about 25% of the talent of this UNC squad. SC lost by one to Tennessee State, the same team that UNC just beat by 33. This really comes down to how the Tar Heels come out after the Thanksgiving break and what their focus is. This is a team they should beat rather easily if they have 85% of their cylinders fiiring. Expect UNC to dominate the boards and maybe struggle for a little bit before they open it up on the Gamecocks and hopefully cruise to a cover in the 2nd half.Comment -

Both are getting somewhere around 70-74 possessions per game and it's been their efficient offenses that have led to high scoring affairs. Both teams though are playing solid defense. I think there were six made FTs in this game before the last ten minutes and it's going to finish with probably 30 made FTs. Sometimes you just get boned by the game. Two surprise teams meeting in the Bahamas final today with UCF and Harvard. Harvard has shot the ball a little better and has slightly better defensive numbers too, but I think there is a little more momentum and experience with UCF. Both teams had monster upsets yesterday, but the Golden Knights were more impressive with their 2nd half rally while Harvard won the defensive/poor shooting battle with FSU thanks in large part to getting to the FT line. Feels like a toss-up, so plus money feels nice.Comment -

It's always a tough order to take a short road favorite early in the season, but Long Beach has already proven with it's road win over Pitt and it's OT loss to San Diego State that it can hang tough on the road. These are two tough squads who met last year with Long Beach winning by double digits. The main difference I see here early is that the 49ers are a better offensive unit. Both teams have four starters back from solid squads last year. This should be a good ballgame, but I think if Long Beach's four seniors are firing on all cylinders - they have more talent.Comment -
