If phx loses C bet, wouldn't D bet also be an A bet? Based on 3 SU 3 ATS losses? Or we have to wait for series to be completed to start a new series?

3 SU & 3 ATS losses are only used to qualify a series. Once qualified, then the team just have to cover the spread or win SU once in any of the next 4 games. If that happens the series is over with a win. If they fail to do that then the series concludes with a 4-game series loss and we'll pick up the next game immediately after as an (A) bet on a new chase.

I would like to add 'tanking' is an owner/managerial decision. Coaches may be somewhat on board tanking but I doubt many coaches will tank on purpose. Players on the floor will definitely not be tanking. Coaches may put out 5 rookies on the floor that has minimal talent but those 5 guys on the floor sure as hell are not going to be tanking. They're playing for jobs. Tanking doesn't mean losing by as many points as possible. Tanking can still cover the spread just like any other two teams playing.

Obviously no one will play this system as-is myself included. We would adjust the system to play at our comfort level.

Why are you still betting on the 5 or 6 teams who are deliberately trying to lose? Not only are they intentionally losing, but they don't even care if they cover. Not a single person should have lost $1 on that second Sixers series, and realistically, not even on the first one. The 76ers made their intentions very clear long before that first series started. If you did wager on that shitty team, then you really had it coming. And if you did it a SECOND time, then I really don't know what to say. As I stated before, my backtest never took "tanking" into consideration. But when we are made aware that such a lame tactic as "tanking" is taking place, then common sense should kick in, and any and all plays on those teams should be avoided. The system will have to count those defeats in the totals, but no individual should suffer any monetary losses from such teams.

Not disagreeing with your statement but I'm not sure anyone would know who is "tanking" when back testing several years and it is something that happens every year....would you agree? My point is the books always adjust for things like injury's, public perception, play-off potential, etc.. I think as a better you have to apply "common sense" all the time. Taking a huge money line favorite is a major risk but it is how the system spits out a play. Also, there times when you bet on a line that loses when the system has it a winning play because that is when you bet it. Nothing is perfect or guaranteed. You have to bet within your limits and means. I know we could all go back and forth on this for days till we are blue in the face.

I personally bet Philly and cleared the series when I took them with plus + odds when the system had them as a M/L play. I bet them again as my "A" after that and won last night as a "C" bet at +15 because that's what the line was when I got them. So I got a bit lucky but did apply some stratgey. You can make money on crappy teams but yes of course it is a risk, aka gambling. Just my 2 cents which is about where my bankroll is at this point after March Madness

The labby method isn't bad ATS with this system. Still a profitable year. I can go back and check, but I was stopping the chase if ML won and ATS lost with the labby.

All I do is put 5 units on the line and keep the labby at 5 numbers. Avg out the loss after each day. If you reach peak profit you start with a fresh line. I'm going to start mixing either the on3 system or favorite of the day playing -1.5 RL.

The teams that screw us seem completely random. If we apply a .500 filter there are not enough games. Keep on grinding.

I'm still up about 19 units this year but yes, every year it's just this one random team that causes all the chaos. I'll eventually make up this Philly loss but just sucks to be burned by the same team twice. Last year Miami was responsible for 3 system loses. The year before San Antonio burned us 3 times as well.

Well done! I never got Washington to come down far enough. Then I got greedy on the lakers. I got them -1 (+108) lol.

Same.......for some reason I felt cheap yesterday and when I bet LAL it was early in the day and the line was -1 at -105. Should have just did the ML!! Although I thought it was in the bag at halftime
