One thing I do ( and have always done with the NBA HT system ) , is when a series is CUT off midway by a BIG break, ie the ALL star break I don't play that series .

There was one or two teams that would have qualified for the system play whom had a game , if I recall correctly Feb 12 or 13th and would have continued following the LONG Break in action . I did not play that road fade.. Not sure if it makes any difference with this system or it's functioning .

I would never bet any thing at -550 or for a $100. It's a skip or live bet wager situation. I ended up betting the "A" game at -192 which saved me a lot of my roll on that bet. Everyone has their own risk tolerance and bankroll but if your trying to win $100 a series with a chase you better have an iron stomach and a starting bankroll of about $10,000.

@skyscrapers how do you keep track of the system plays for when they qualify? Are you just checking each game the day before to see if a team has lost 3 SU & ATS? Do you have like 30 teams on a excel sheet where you write down if they Won or loss each day?

I just check at the end of the night to see which teams qualify and then pluck it into a spreadsheet and then update it here daily. I'm on the West coast so I can usually wait for all the games to finish.

What other systems are you guys following?

I've been using these exact Chase 110 parameters for WNBA (without the head-to-head filter) for the last few years and had great results. There aren't many plays that can qualify though. Last season went a perfect 13-0.

Last year I started using these parameters, again without the head-to-head filter in NFL (complete season), CFL (complete season) and NCAAF (partial season).

For the above 4 leagues (I had a total of only one series loss and that was the New York Giants.

I've tried transplanting these parameters into other leagues and it simply does not work so don't bother with MLB, NHL, & NCAAB. I had 303 series for NCAAB and ended with 11 losses...ouch!!!

Internationally I've experimented with these major basketball leagues:
Australia NBL
Germany BBL
UK BBL
Australia NBL
France LNB
China CBA

Australia NBL is the most promising
China CBA was disastrous

Not sure if I'll have the time to continue following all these leagues but WNBA is second to NBA in terms of results.

Definitely makes it more of a challenge. I have been doing pretty well with Live betting them. But it still creates higher risk to bankroll most times. The last play on Hou I took at -200 which is just on the cusp of my risk tolerance.

I went back through this season and tested betting everything ATS instead of ML. If the ML won and ATS lost I didn't continue with the series. The way I manage the betting system is to put 4 units on a "line" after each loss add that amount to the line, so the bet size will increase roughly 25% each play. If the bet wins, I subtract it from the line. Always rounded the bets to the nearest dollar.

For example
Line = 4 units or $40 for simplicity.
Day 1 lose 1.1 units (-$11)

New line $51 / 4 = $12.75 or bet to win 1.3 units ($13)
Day 2 lose again -$14.30

New Line $65.3 / 4 = bet to win $16 or 1.6 units.
Day 3 win $16

New Line $49.3 / 4 = bet to win $12 (1.2u)
Day 4 Win $12

Don't drop below 4 units on your line so reset it to $40 / 4 = $10 or 1 unit


Record: 57 - 34 - 2
Profit +$280.90 (+28u)

The record is so good this year can probably just increase the unit size without much of a sweat and just flat bet everything for 5 units?

There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from Scoresandodds.com. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on Scoresandodds.com final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day if the lines do change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post. System rules and backtests can be found in posts #96 & #3263-3264.

Yes. But that is hypothetical, since the Bucks line did indeed close at +17.5.

Simple solution: If you don't like it then don't bet it!!
Vegas is not going to put a line out on a game that is a 100% guaranteed winner. If they did that, they would be out of business. Maybe next time do your research BEFORE you make your bet, instead of doing it AFTER.
