Totally agree, but I feel like CK hasn't really taken NBA capping that seriously ever since he had that week over in the NCAA forums. Granted, I will be watching his March Madness picks very carefully, but I feel like he lost that NBA swagger that he had early on in the season. The last couple of weeks have been mostly quick picks by him with not alot of in depth analysis and then picks by other cappers. This is in no way a bash on CK, I just wish he would give NBA the time and attention he did earlier in the season because he's one of the best. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say his opinion on these games are extremely valuable.

adding ATL +2 1st half. When they play big teams as dogs they do a good job of keeping the game tight quarter by quarter. Against boston i played them 1Q, 1Hf, and game, i'll lay off the 1Q here, because cavs are strong early, but i think that atlanta takes a lead into the half and worst case scenario, the hawks will cover at least one of half or game. Doing the same thing with IND in the first half.. they do a good job of starting out fast and both those 1st half lines are half or less of game total, even with more money on the favs at the half.

IND +1 1st half
ATL +2 1st half

regular plays:

ATL +4/ML
IND +2.5/ML

if these hit, i may go on GS tonight, but until then, i'm sitting on that game.

There is some middle ground between living for CK's opinion and not caring at all about it. I consider myself a decent NBA capper but CK has much more experience with gambling in general than I do and I value his insight and information. Doesn't mean I "live" for his opinion, but I do like to hear what he is thinking when he is at the top of his game.

i agree, but i think hes trying to get ready for a huge march madness. both the nfl and ncaa post seasons - he was lights out.

its crazy to say this, but i lost more money this week then i won last week - and if you saw me here last sunday after the magic beat the heat - you know i cashed in a pretty penny. it is what it is, and im glad i took the day off today to get my head straight.

i am not a capper or i dont think i am i'm a daytrader and I suck at it -- (do i make money **** yea but nearly as much as those that were in my office thus now I trade from home b/c it was ****ing depressing when you thought you killed it but others in the room made 10 times whwat you made)

I tail alot of people here and I learn a lot especially the ck SP plays, the JM plays, Formulawhiz, mainly those that list how they come up with it and then now I just do it on my own (schaapattack so far his picks has been really similar to mine and alot of mine does deal with RLM too

usually how i come up with how to bet what teams is usually the last 30 min change in lines i have 3 books offshore and 3 of what you would call local bookies so that's how I usually do my picks and once in a while you see me post it and sometimes you see me dont but i know for sure when I tried breaking down a game details by details and why i'm on it I totally lose that game hence the lakers 2 times haha

call me a tailer or a capper i only know one thing I'm a bettor and I try to make money and that's it i love this board and until CK or someone tells me to get the **** out i'm still going to stick around

how much do i bet some have ask? I use to bet as much as CK on his SP plays but then I stopped b/c it got out of hand and it was way too many bets and now betting has become like a 2nd job for me taking too much time but on hte under of the lakers game i liked it last minute and i did mention to parlay it with pho3nix picks so let's root for this

but man some great cappers here that I love to pick their brains and eventually one day do it all by myself

its like trading....there's so many ways to trade and everyone has their own way that you can add to your arsenel of knowledge to make more money and trust me when I daytrade out of an office I would tail alot of traders b/c we were all for the same goal to make money and when I do tail people I say thanks

Lunt, you're right. He hasn't been on top of his game since that brief stint in the NCAA forums, which is understandable. The way I see it, to be good at capping NBA games, you have to stay up to date with how teams are playing on a daily basis. You'll know which teams are struggling, where they're struggling, when they're hot, when they're cold, and the list goes on. That way, you'll have a good idea of what to expect from a team when you're betting on them or against them.

I agree with you as well that I appreciate getting feedback from CK because he has a lot more experience than many of us young cappers, and with that, he's able to help us figure out where we're going wrong.

of course they should be posting their lines - but by not posting a line, that makes it easier to claim a win later if the final falls right around the number.
