B, that's on a much larger scale. apples and oranges. vegas get by on a much smaller profit because of the amount that is taken in. same in any business. i make more on something i sell in my shop at a 50% profit and sell 10 at 100.00 than something i make 100% profit and sell 1 at 100.00. same with vegas and me. i'm 1 person they have millions of ppl and most are losers.

shoe, my feeling is that there are a few cappers here and if all of us got together and all decided on a select few games a day and pounded them, we'd do great.

its better to have quality not quantity.

Soccer is my main sport, now I'm pretty new to Bball capping and don't want to give you guys a lecture as your much better than me but the way I cap soccer gives very solid results. I have a few others capping games aswell, we first have a checklist to find games that qualify, then bring what we have to the table, then all analyse each pick after weeding out the weakest picks only a very few games are left but the strike rate is very high over the long run.

Something similar may give an edge with Bball in this thread aswell, don't know what you guys think? right now it seems as if a few really good guys make a pick and everyone just follows, this isn't in the favour of the good cappers in my opinion because it stops discussions when nobody challenges to look for better angles.

Anyway good luck gang for the rest of the night, theres still a long way to go

i think what was done today with the consensus plays would work if someone had the time to track these each day. we could have 2 big boards - one with CK's leans, and another with consensus plays of about 10-15 guys. sort of the way CK has his PC circle. there are a lot of good handicappers in here, and i think this is something that we should seriously consider

but i for one will not even be on this site anymore in the daytime once i start my new job on 3/30. i'll be on at night to post my plays and thats it. if one of you youger guys in college has the time to do it, please pm me.

each capper whos being included in the consensus should post official plays at some point in the day, and try to make it clear as to who they are playing (perhaps highlight the plays in color etc)...

Dallas -1.5 for the 1Q. Looking back at the Raptors past 5 road games and they have started off horribly, except for the Memphis game. I'm looking for Dallas to get up early and get the crowd into the game.

It could work out rather well get a few of the trusted cappers together have them pick their plays for each day and have each of them agree on which ones are the best option then load up. If multiple solid cappers agree on a play then that play is probably solid. It is worth a shot for a month or so to see how it turns out.

wow, officiating in this CLE/ATL game has been pretty bad... i'm not playing anything else at half, just really hoping the hawks get their act together and get over the officiating that lebron and the celtics tend to get when they face off.
