I wonder if any mathematicians have modeled this. You all think this advantage for a team coming off a day rest after b2b is quantitative? If someone could put a number on it, like 3.2 point advantage, that would be great.

I could be wrong here but I was under the impression that the system had to be 4 consecutive days. For example the Magic lost on the 29th of October, lost on the 30th of October, had a day off on the 31st of October, then we played them on the 1st of November. That was 4 consecutive days. I don't think the wizards and celtics apply because they each didn't play on the 31st but I could be wrong.
We're going to have to wait on bigjah15 to chime in and clarify. Good luck!
