Think Gibbs would prefer him to concentrate on NW title. Martin should be able to keep car up there in points

They said on race hub this week if top 10 in owners points they would be chase eligible.

never heard of a driver being out of the car, and still being able to use the points, no matter where the owner pts are

but i could be wrong of course, just never heard that

like, Vickers isnt eligable even if the #55 stays in top 20 in owners pts is he? or martin if he had enough wins?

What they said is could be a 13 car chase as top 10 in owner points gets in. Usually same as driver points so never been a factor.

What I had read that san estimate. Denny had mentioned he'd like to start races a few weeks from now and then use relief driver. So at least they are getting points.

will be fun to see if he can I'd be Fukkin impressed if they make chase

Yep, I agree.
The 11 gets the best and most experienced driver available while MWR gets more races to evaluate Vickers.
I did hear that Martin will not be in the car at Talladega. Vickers is mentioned as one of its possible drivers there.
