yes I too have never been a fan of this setup..its just plain weird..never liked The Pigs also as it was same last I checked

That's not necessary. All contestants are required to do is make the deposit.

The "playing for points" makes this a non-starter for me as far as a deposit goes. Does a real good job in diluting the cash purse. Maybe someday you'll get the message some of us are trying to send you SBR.

I agree (same with BTP) and at first I thought of it as basically false advertising because they're not paying out nearly the amount they advertise for the contest but after thinking it over its not their fault posters are too cheap to even pony up $50 into their book.

The SBR Contests picks software doesn't give the ability to parlay. You would be able to place straight bets on the run-line, moneyline, and total per game.

Sounds like you need new software I mean how is it that you can parlay in real life (using software), but can't in any of the contest???

If it's any help here is a quick and easy java script you can use on the back end to allow parlays.

We offer parlays in our SBR Sportsbook. With player vs player contests, the best measure of handicapping skill is how well one does over X amount of straight picks...so for contests that's what we go with.
