BIG difference is you can't start submitting plays in tennis contests until after the draw, so there is usually like 2 days between draw and first round, and early start times overseas makes the quick turnaround worse. Unlike other sports where we get lots of entries in advance.

So seems choices for tennis are make deadline second round OR accept entries before the draw. We welcome any other ideas.
