OK I got you, when I first saw this thread I was thinking maybe it had gotten moved up from the normal time like the other contest I was in. Yeah without Saturday games I can see how others might make that mistake now that you mention it.

My apologies to anyone who was confused this week, but as Sean has pointed out, the rules are quite clear that all picks need to be entered no later than 11am on Saturday. Indeed anyone signed up for e-mail alerts who didn't have their picks submitted by 4pm EST Friday received a similar message this week as they would have last week.

We definitely appreciate the opinions of all those who have suggested extending the pick deadline by 24 hours on weeks where no games are scheduled for Saturday, and we'll strongly consider implementing this as a new rule next year. Until then, however, we're going to need to stick with the rules as already written and implemented, and which have remained unchanged since the start of the BTP contest regular season in week 3.

If they want to adjust the rules next year to where NFL picks can be entered until Sunday's kickoff, I'd love to see that. (I only cap my NFL games Saturday night). As far as changing the rules now, that would be unfair towards those who did enter their picks on time (without the benefit of the very latest team info). I missed a week as well, because I mistook the deadline. Don't see the big deal. It's a free contest with free money. A little gratitude doesn't hurt.

Yep, sure did. They didn't do anything wrong, just saying as a player it could be easy to make that mistake. Other than this one probably my 2nd favorite football contest on the net.

Looks like Prick is going 3-0-1 anyway, only a perfect score would beat him. Not a bad week afterall to sit out considering the short card (no college games) and his nice record.

Seattle is down but they should cover this number in the 2nd half.
