I didn't realize Ken Hitchcock became coach of Edmonton a couple of weeks back. ALL his teams become better when he takes over.

Coach Hitchcock and Edmonton host the rematch "Battle of Alberta" game tonight against the Calgary Flames.

Flames registered a 4-2 win on Nov.17 at home. The game had a bit of nasty vibe to it, with the Oilers taking 11 penalties.

Flames are on a back-to-back this time, but have been running hot and scoring.

Hearing Hitchcock talk, he often speaks of the "one goal league" meaning games are tight and winning comes from doing enough to be on the +1 side of the outcome.

That was very literal Sunday night with the 1-0 score which Edmonton won at home.

Crushed DFS hockey tonight finishing 9th in the $8 tourney on DK. I typically don’t do great in gpps but tonight the Leafs went off and so did Tampa so if you had exposure to them you probably did well. Here is my lineup:
