So..... DS played Cobb last night who was out—didn’t even travel with the team and his defense is on bye.

I was certain I had changed out Cobb for Riddick and usually fix my defense with rest of team Sunday morning. My bad.

Hold up a fuckin minute here So we are to believe you replaced a guy on IR (Cupp) for a guy who wasn’t in your lineup the previous week (Cobb) was hurt, playing on a Thursday night AND it was reported TWO DAYS before that he wasn’t making the trip with the team? Ok slappy, I'll humor you. I'm fairly certain I probably changed Kupp out Sunday or maybe Monday. I quickly moved a couple pieces around including removing Drake who was on bye and moving Baldwin from bench or flex to WR. At time, I threw Cobb in without really researching whether he would play or not. I own Green in several other leagues and was fairly certain he was out as all reports lately have said December minus the out of nowhere report he wasnt ruled out sometime toward beginning of the week. The rest of my lineup is on a bye.

I made no waiver claims, not really as a throwaway or giving up on season as Im only one game out of 6th seed but moreso as a I just didnt care at the moment as more pressing matters presented themselves. I clearly could have waived Kupp and picked someone up.

You are correct that I have picked up defenses a few times earlier in the week but I often do it on Sundays as I make a final run thru all my rosters (competitive or not) to make sure I have an active lineup.

I generally try to do a quick run thru Thursday as well but life happened and I was buried for more hours than I wanted to be Thursday.

If rest of you are ok with it have commish sub out Cobb for Riddick. It really was a mistake. If he cannot then sorry and hope my apology will suffice. If it does not then I will file it away with several other things I couldn't give a shit less about.

I don’t think it’s possible. I think the funniest part of all this was peavy claiming he didn’t notice until after the game started I somehow envision him clicking the refresh button numerous times from 815-820 EST on Thursday

we all have real life issues we go through. In the end this is just the luck of the draw. Last week in my league a team left Thielan in and still made high points for the week. I accept DS’s description of what took place as sincere so let’s just move on. We should all be excited about the upcoming thanksgiving holiday and spending it with family and friends

Hmm, I think this would set a bad example as I really should take over managing a roster ONLY in cases of obvious tanking, which this certainly is not. If I do it in other situations, it would open up a can of worms where others would ask for retroactive changes giving some excuse.

Even though it affects seedings I don’t think the lineup should be changed. You open up a whole can of worms of “oh I meant to put this guy in” etc etc. In a perfect world it would have been caught before. It wasn’t so let’s move on.

I had a team in my league drop Duke Johnson when he had Alex Smith on his bench w Matt Ryan as his starter. Even though I disagreed he gave me a valid reasoning and that was that.

I enjoyed the people I wanted to enjoy time w at the bash. Talked for a lot more than 2 minutes.

Ive learned a lot about people here this season as well. Between Peavy & Dazer it’s taught me a thing or 2. I made a backhanded comment about fantasy football yet you chose to make personal comments. Just another classless move in my opinion.

This should get fixed, if necessary, I will follow up after the Week 11 Recaps are posted,

If you notice, the scores on the home page are correct, but if you drill down your game, it is showing Maholmes with a bye, no doubt caused by Mexico fiasco. Yahoo should catch mistake once they run Recaps.

Exactly, scores on home page are correct but when you look at game detail, everyone that played last night shows Bye and Standings picked up those faulty scores.
