it's hard to gauge whether he got buried in point debt and bailed or if something might have happened to him off the forum?? He has shown enough over the years for me to give him the benefit of the doubt but it's not looking promising since he hasn't logged in for months.

marigold....i think things are different this time. i sent several emails to his personal email account via ESPN and it's been crickets. i believe i found his account on facebook because it references the astros and fantasy football accomplishments in 2016. however the last post there was from nov 6th (about the same time here). although it's not as he posts that much.

i checked death records and arrest records and nothing came up. so i guess it's a wait and see at this point.

He kind of disappeared in last years league also. But did return in the end. But he also won the league last year.

My gut tells me he will come back sooner or later. But it will take a while to pay off his debt. He seems like an honorable guy to me anyway.

if SBR did step in, they should pay out in %'s owed. we'd need someone to dig into the weekly winners too. i know he owe's me 1000 points (750 for 3rd place and 250 for a weekly high point).

I’ve never seen SBR step in on a situation like this before....so I doubt they will here either. We took the risk of letting someone hold our points. So they are not to blame. If they do get involved great, if not I understand.

Yeah I'm done. Only official contests for more on. So ASTRO is much more buried than we thought. I put too much time into this league and had a killer team even in reserves.

I understand the bowl thing is "my fault" but the rules for submitting picks are fuckin stupid and unlike any other contest they run.

Def not playing that shit anymore. I had so many offers to team up, too bad I didn't take them up on their offers

No worries, I guess maybe asking him at the time or "calling him out" would of been good, but it's all hind sight.

I don't track other guys points /contests so I never would of noticed this. I had seen ASTRO as a long time member so I never imagined he was shifty, or if he was, how many guys would of joined before me in the contest.

Not to sound like a dick, but if it's not for significant points I don't even want too waste my time. I played for "fun" when I was a broke kid.

The only reason I joined was to 1k league was because I had never done an auction before (I'm actually not a degen and cautious)

Turns out I'm really good at them, especially the game of the draft. It's kind of like poker.

I agree Spider, it doesn't add up at all. Wish I had his number to see if he is okay. Something big must have happened. I know you can't always no someone completely but I don't see Astro just cutting out. If stiffing everyone was his plan it makes zero sense that he renewed his status. He could have just used the 8k on bitcoin and then peaced out on everyone. Hope the dude is alright.

He made transactions and waiver claims in our league into December, so about a month after his last log in here he was still active.

We all know this place is addicting, and you like to get your daily log ins in. I'm not judging anyway, but maybe his return was based on the league results. I can't remember how well he was doing.

Regardless, I hope he's OK and literally all is forgiven if you're reading this ASTRO. I'm not a broke dikk but I put it a lot of time and finally won my first league so I was so excited.

Calling a spade a spade, he's not dead and at the very least he could come in and explain himself and not leave us hanging. This is our money, time, effort and it's not fair to anyone here.

i reached out to someone who had commented on his posts on facebook (there weren't many from what i was allowed to see since we aren't friends). the guy got a hold of one of his family members and said he was in florida. no tragic reports or anything like that.

i asked him to confirm with them that he is alright.....we will see.
