If some shady trade like that went down, there would be 9-10 angry owners, not just you. I dont remember if only comish has veto trade or if everyone can vote on it.

I'm not sure of veto power but obviously if there's a lopsided deal I'd stop it. Never had that issue in any league, ever. Plus, since we have weekly payouts for top scorers, it doesn't make sense to give away your players even if you suck because you still have a shot at getting some points back.

I'm doing a mock right now on ESPN. It's pretty cool. Lot of different strategies to go with.

I'm still deciding if I want to do this; I've got some time I guess

Yeah, Ive never seen a shady trade in your league or any of the LT leagues for that matter.

Also how do you guys want to do trade vetoing?

Right now vetoing requires 5 votes (so half the league since I doubt either trade partner will veto it).. Can change it to I have full control over it if we want. Honestly, doesn't matter to me as I've never had any trades every need to be vetoed so highly doubt it comes in to play.

Yep, forgot to set that so thanks for reminding me. 250 budget, same as draft. I realize the budget doesn't really matter much, but I like to mix it up from the standard amounts so it's a little more difficult for people to come up with a bid and can't just blindly follow website's recommendations.

So that leaves a few options: I can push the draft to Wednesday at 9 or 9:30pm eastern but that will make it end late for east coasters while west coasters will be drafting at 6 or 6:30. It will not interfere with the SBR leagues. That buys us a couple more days to get a 12th. We can keep it at 12 or make it a 10 person league and would have to drop someone.

I can also make it next weekend but that's Labor Day weekend so may cause some issues there too.

Input would be appreciated.

Open for either time. If Labor day isn't good for anyone. You could do it the Saturday before the season starts Sept 9th , with only the Thursday game being played.

But any weekday night or weekend is good for me.

Definitely wouldn't be Thursday (I have League II's draft then) or Friday (figure that's the most likely day people will be busy)

Alright, we'll shoot for Wednesday then at 9pm.. if that's too early or late for someone let me know. That buys more time to find a 12th. Also if someone doesn't want to play then we could do 10 people league and reduce all payouts by 16.67% if you guys would want to do that

If it will help I will join, but Wednesday would be the best draft for me, I can do autodraft because I have never done an auction draft and that way everyone can do their things and have the league complete
