I'm playing the Yahoo game for cash prizes this year with a group of 36. I finished second in the Spring segment and am currently second for the Full Season.

One thing we need to keep in mind when considering playing the Yahoo game next year is that we probably wouldn't be able to let anyone join it after the first race. Yahoo is primarily about strategy when to use drivers, since you can only use the same driver nine times in a season. That gives someone an unfair advantage if they join sometime after the first race, if there are weekly and segment prizes.
Our group pays out prizes for the segments and full season. Last year one member used up all of his top drivers in the first segment and won. He didn't play after that. Because of that, we changed the payout this year and almost all of the prize fund will be paid out according to the standings at the end of the season.

Rob is a stud on Yahoo. But think that's because he is so on top of all the news and info and just a good capper. Not due to knowing how to play the yahoo rules better than others. Is that fair Rob? Or is it good fantasy strategy too?

^^^ I guess this makes the segment and overall leaderboard a much fairer competition. The week to week pool might be a bit mixed up due to driver usage some weeks, especially late season.

Not that I see that as a bad thing. This Fox game has got a little bit predictable as far as winners go.

No change there. I am an expert on that rule having won the pot and getting stiffed.

and i think the main pot should pay 2nd place....

25% to 35%.....

makes being a brides maid by a point or two more palatable.....

if anything, kt seems like the pot splits are reversed.....
