damn, if i didn't have so much shit to do workwise and a cruise two-three weeks from now, I'd run up to ft worth to catch this race.....

always a good time.... lost my car for an hour or so after one race due to excessive drinking/partying.... didn't even care. the rednecks that were chaufeurring my babe and I around didn't care, as they were just happy to be in the presence of her

..... very "mardi-gra-ish" atmosphere after a race, as everyone is pretty much continuing to drink like fish as they wait for the traffic to die down..... lots of tit flashin' and ass grabbin' post race.....

a photo from that day (obviously back in the day when Driver 8 was still drinkin' Bud) and fighting the evil Hendrick Empire..... my how things have changed.....:

just not enough time in a day to do enough analysis of the also-rans and past performances at the track, and to gather the garage scuttlebutt about who's got the car to beat, etc., to do fantasy nascar on a serious basis.....

watching qualifying can give you a lot of the inside input from the garage area, as dw and mcreynolds provide some insight on what they're hearing, and how well drivers do at this track or that, but I never have time to watch it these days
