    Homered in the 12th.
He is going to be a power hitter more than a guy that hits for a high average.

Baez was 0 for 4 tonight he will hit for power but he may need a bit of adjustment time to this level of pitching

He swings at everything. He is going to rack up some strikeouts early on, but he can hit the bomb to all sides of the field.

I'm not sure if the other 18 were at the end of the 1961 season or the start of the 1963 season. Sure lucky for him he could pitch!

Nice find, EM. Going 0-46 is simply amazing in several ways...

So true. I don't think Bradley has had an AB since Sunday, I could be wrong though?

Nice game indeed. Haven't seen him play yet, koz.

I've heard he has power and will swing at anything. Sounds very familiar to a lot of players these days!

Bradley is 0/24 Currently. One hopes he shouldn't reach that 0/46 stretch.

No, I going to watch him today @ 4:00 for the first time.

I like the free swinging type players. Fun to watch...

Anibal Sanchez suffers pectoral injury Friday
Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez was removed from Friday's start against the Blue Jays with a right pectoral muscle strain, the team announced.

Sanchez gave up four runs (three earned) on 10 hits and one walk in 4 2/3 innings while striking out three before exiting in the fifth. He will be evaluated tomorrow to determine his status moving forward. Sanchez owns a 3.46 ERA and 102:30 K:BB ratio in 125 innings

Blue Jays: First baseman Adam Lind felt tightness in his back following his first rehab game with Toronto's Gulf Coast League team Thursday and did not play Friday. General manager Alex Anthopoulos said Lind remains on track to rejoin the Blue Jays early next week.

This isn't surprising. It's amazing that the Angels were able to get something in return for him. I wonder who will stash him in the minors.

So Boston and the Angels are going to the bottom of the 19th. When will this game end?

As I type this, the Red Sox and Angels are tied 4-4 in the 19th inning.

Will this be the longest game of the year???

Since July 3, he is batting .319 with a .714 slugging percentage, 1.093 OPS, 13 home runs and 31 RBI in his last 31 games. The chances of Carter continuing at this pace are highly unlikely and he's likely due for a cold spell, especially for a player that strikes out as much as he does.
