you ever check out the Local Alumni Club there in Virginia? I know here in pittsburgh there is a local Buckeye Bar that gets like 150 people out for games and crap. I only know because I have been there and seen the turnout.

I was raised in Ohio Also. Notre Dame fan though as that is where I graduated from.

Oh hell yeah! When I lived in Virginia Beach, there was an awesome Buckeye Club at one of the local bars that would be PACKED by 9:00am every Saturday! It was great and THE place to be for Buckeye and Cleveland Brown's football games. I haven't found an alumni club yet in Northern Virginia, but haven't really looked yet as this is my first football season up here.

Thursday Night Game:

Cincinnati -7 vs NC State (-135) for 1.35 units

For this game I am liking Cincy at home against the 2-1 Wolfpack. Cincy staying at home as this is their second home game in a row and next week just traveling across state to visit Miami, Ohio while NC State may be looking ahead to next week's game vs Georgia Tech. Cincy wins by at least a TD in this one.

Just so you all know, I am leaning on Clemson over Florida St. especially with reports coming out that Florida State is not 100%. Last year, Clemson won against the spread as 6 point underdogs as they lost 16-13 in Tallahassee. The line came out with Clemson as 2 point favs and has slowly come down to 1.5 points as 74% of the public is on Florida State. Just waiting to see if the line moves down anymore before locking in.

I was able to get on this at the last minute but since I couldn't post on forum, I am NOT counting it as a win although money was made on the pick. I bring it up to say that sometimes those last minute line changes can be a real blessing. I was able to get Clemson -1 right before kickoff. While the line change didn't effect the outcome, it certainly effected whether or not I placed my wager. Hopefully some of you made out on this pick as well.
