You can easily say the same about Brown posing a bigger threat than those in Pyle's streak. When you go on win streaks you will eventually get an upgrade in competition - Joe Silva told me so or something.

As for the grappling - Brown could be toast if it goes to the mat, sure. Pyle's a crafty jitz guy. Hathaway seemed to have gone down too easily and I can buy into Brown being better at fighting off those trips. If Pyle had a good single or double leg in his arsenal then I'd probably opt out on this one - I think Brown spends enough time on the feet and flusters Pyle w/ his pressure and power.

I don't think Brown offers a bigger threat than Story, Head, or even Neer for that matter. Man, Brown vs Neer, now that'd be a fight!

Looking at the prefight interviews he cites that he needed over a week to think on it because he recently became a father, had to dicuss it with his wife to leave her alone with the newborn, he also mentioned that he and Brown are social with each other as in hangs out and play videogames together, barbeques and stuff like that.

He was sitting in on mmajunkie radio not too long ago, he talked about knowing Matt Brown and said he was confident he would get his hand raised --- He didn't talk about having to leave his wife home... He trains in Vegas and he's the kinda guy who is in the gym even when he doesn't have a fight, so the baby wouldn't have kept him out of the gym for long... anyway, the newborn doesn't mean he doesn't want to take this fight and had to take it... he believes this is one of the best fights for him in the WW division and I tend to agree with him. Brown has a nice win streak going with some hype behind him now (clearly, with everyone on here backing him) and he'd be easier to beat than a lot of the other guys at 170... anyway, this is the first time i'm ever playing mike pyle instead of fading him, and i'm only doing so because i have him capped as the favorite and the books have him at dog odds.

Swick was almost knocked out by Demarques penetrating Johnson, was obviously in the wrong weightclass and had been talking about being sick for a while. Chin was non existent. Was obvious Brown was somehow improving his game tremendously, something a lot of people haven't grasped yet. Had brown TKO in that fight, anyway dont wanna fight about it or anything, was more to counter argue the people trying to defame Browns skills in this thread.
